Super TET Exam 2019 - 2020:

Super TET (Super Teacher Eligibility Test) is a National Level examination to conduct the eligibility of candidates to be appointed as a teacher. Super TET Examination is conducted by Super TET because it is not affiliated portal of any Government and State agency like Uttar Pradesh (UP) State. This exam is conducted for the recruitment of teachers at primary and upper primary level. Super TET Exam is a paper pen based examination, it means offline test. This exam is held once a year schedule in the month of January (Tentative). 

2 levels of Super TET Exam:

Primary level 

Upper / Post-primary level.

Aspirants who successfully clear their UPTET or CTET exam can apply for the Super TET exam. The exam is mandatory for teaching jobs in Government as well as Private class 1 to class 8. The exam is conducted in order to fulfil and achieve the goals of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act.

Super TET Exam Eligibility Criteria:

Super TET Exam is the 2nd level of Exam after qualifying State level TET/ CTET exam. In this paper there are 2 papers: Paper 1 is meant for teachers opting for class 1 to class 5 and Paper 2 is meant for teachers opting for class 6 to class 8. Before filling the Super TET Application Form, aspirants must carefully go through the eligibility criteria. Eligibility is based on the candidate’s education qualification for the post which is mentioned below:

Super TET Eligibility for Primary Teachers (Class 1 to 5):
  • Aspirants must have passed senior secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks or hold bachelor degree/ appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma (D.Ed) from N.C.T.E.
  • Aspirants must have a hold Bachelor degree and 2 years degree in B.T.C., C.T (Nursery) / Nursery Teacher Training (NTT). 
  •  Aspirants must have hold Bachelor degree and qualification in special BTC Training.
  • Aspirants must have a hold Bachelor degree with 2 years in BTC in the Urdu Language.
Super TET Eligibility for Primary Teachers (Class 6 to 8):
  • Aspirants must have held a bachelor's degree and BTC from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). 
  • Aspirants must have held a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks and B.Ed / B.Ed Special Education from Rehabilitation Council Of India (RCI).
  •  Aspirants must have completed Intermediate with at least 50% marks and 4 years in B.A/ B.Sc.Ed/ B.A.Ed from N.C.T.E and UGC with recognized institute.
  •  Aspirants must have completed Intermediate with at least 50% marks and 4 years in B.El.Ed in Primary Education.
  • Aspirants must have held a bachelor's degree with at least 45% marks and B.Ed degree.
