OTET Registration Form 2024
OTET Form: OTET eligibility test is conducted by the board of secondary education Odisha to recruit the eligible candidates for the various teaching posts. Applicants who satisfy the eligibility criteria can go through the application process. Aspirants can get the application form by visiting the official website of the board which is bseodisha.nic.in. Before filling the application, candidates are advised to read the given guidelines and notification very carefully in the notification link which is available in pdf format.
The OTET application will be activated in the month of January 2024 (Tentatively). Candidates are advised to complete the registration process before the given deadline.
OTET Application Form 2024:
OTET Application Form: Separate application links are available for the primary teacher examination and middle-level teacher examination. Interested candidates can fill up the OTET Application Form online mode. For filling the OTET Form, candidates are advised to visit the official website first and then find the appropriate link to fill up the OTET online form.
Note: Before filling up the OTET registration form, candidates are required to read some guidelines which are necessary to appear in the OTET Exam 2024.

Guidelines for OTET Online Form 2024:
- Candidates must hold the citizenship of India.
- Candidates should have the domicile of Odisha.
- There is no upper age limit for this exam.
- Higher secondary with the atleast 50% marks and 2 years of diploma in elementary education or
- Higher secondary with atleast 45% of marks and 2 years of diploma in elementary education in accordance of the NCTE or
- Higher secondary with atleast 50% marks and 4 years of a bachelor of elementary education or
- Higher secondary with atleast 50% marks and 2 years of diploma in elementary education or
- Graduation with atleast 50% marks and one year of bachelor in education
- Graduation with atleast 45% marks and one year of bachelor in education in accordance with the NCTE regulation issued from time to time in this regards
- Graduation with one year of B.Ed in special education
- Higher secondary with atleast 50% marks and 4 years bachelor in elementary education or
- Higher secondary with atleast 50% marks and 4 years B.A/B.Sc/B.Ed etc.
Eligibility Criteria for OTET Online Form:
For Category A (Paper I):
Aspirants should have passed the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% marks and Graduation in any field. Candidates should have completed a 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education.
For Category B (Paper-II):
Candidates should have passed 12th and Graduation along with 4 Year B.A.ed, B.Sc.ed course.

The application form payment can be done through the State Bank of India only in the following three ways.
- Net Banking (Online Mode)
- ATM Card (Online Mode)
- Cash payment through bank challan.
- Submit all detail and print the OTET Application Form for future reference.

OTET Registration Form Process:
The OTET Registration Form filling involves different stages, and there is no confusion in the OTET Application Form process. The application process of OTET is mentioned below –
The process of OTET Examination-
- Visit the official website of the Odisha TET exam.
- If you are already registered, then login to your account by entering your e-mail ID, Password, Security Captcha and click the “Login” button.
- If you are a new user then find hit on “Click Here for OTET Registration” to register on the top of the website.
- On successful registration, you will be directed again to the “Login to your Account” page where you have to enter your e-mail ID & Password and click “Login” again.
Note: After registering successfully, candidates are required to follow the below-mentioned procedure to get admission to OTET.
Step 1: Fill the OTET Application Form:
To register for OTET, the applicant first needs to register himself. Candidates must fill the otet registration online mode on the official website of the exam. In the application form, they need to enter such details:
- Type First Name & confirm.
- Type Middle Name & confirm (if any)
- Type Last Name & confirm.
- Type Full Name.
- Type Mobile No. & confirm.
- Type E-Mail ID & confirm.
Step 2: Upload the Photo & signature:
Candidates have to Upload a Scanned photograph and scanned signature within the prescribed manner.
- Photo Size: Max 50kb, Min 20kb, JPG format
- Signature size: Up to 20kb, JPG format
Step 3: Candidates have to provide the basic Details & educational qualifications in the form.
Basic Details About OTET Online Form:
- Select Paper applied for (only 01 (one) division/unit is to be selected for which he/she is applying for.
- Select the language preference
- Select if Trained, click on the Trained radio button
- Select category ( General/SC/ST/SEBC)
- Are you a person with a disability (Yes/No)? (If the scribe is required, the applicant should download the scribe form and the same should be completed in all respect and handed over to the supervising officer of the Examination center.)
- If yes, select the nature of the disability.
- Select Examination city from the scroll list.
- Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY), Gender (Male/Female), Type Father’s & Mother’s Name, Type address (Correspondence & Permanent).
Required Qualification for OTET Online Form:

- Please refer to the Education Qualification/Eligibility Criteria Document Year of passing & percentage of marks in the respective discipline should be mentioned.
Step 4: Preview
The applicant can see the Preview of the filled Application. Then save and submit. This is not a final step to take a printout.
Step 5: Payment
Now, go through the payment option and pay the fees as their norms. For checking the “payment Status” the Applicant is to log in after 2 days of fee payment. You can take the printout of the OTET Application Form after 24 hours. Complete the payment process prior to two days of the deadline.
Download OTET Admit Card:
Conducting authority will release the admit card as soon as the registration process is done completely. Candidates can download their OTET Admit Card from the official website of the exam. OTET Admit Card will hold candidate details (name, roll number, etc.) as well as exam details (date and time of the exam, venue name, and address, etc.).
Appear for OTET Exam:
Next, candidates need to appear for OTET Exam. The exam will contain two papers, Paper-I and Paper-II. Candidates can appear for any one of the papers only. In case, a candidate registers for both papers, his/ her candidature for both papers shall be rejected, informs the official website.
Check OTET Result:
OTET Result will be declared on the official website of the college. It may be noted that the minimum qualifying marks for the OTET Exam are 60% (50% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ SEBC/ PWD candidates). Candidates whose names appear in the OTET merit list will then be eligible for teaching jobs in different schools of Odisha.
