JEE Main Exam Pattern: JEE Main Exam conducting Agency, NTA has declared the official paper pattern of JEE Main. Paper I and Paper II will be conducted in two shifts per day and paper I will be held in a fully computer-based mode while paper II will be partly computer-based and partly pen-and-paper based. JEE Mains is a 3-hour long examination consisting of 90 questions. The mode of question paper in every center will be in English and Hindi only.

Important Instructions for JEE Main Exam Pattern 2025

Candidates will be given 3 hours to complete the JEE Main Exam 2025. No extra time will be given to the aspirants to complete the JEE Main Exam apart from the allotted time.
There is a negative marking in the JEE Main Exam 2025.
The medium of the JEE Main Exam will be English and Hindi only.

JEE Main Exam Day Instructions

Given below are the important instructions that must be taken into account by the candidates regarding JEE Main Exam Pattern 2025. Have a look.

Aspirants have to report to the examination hall one hour before the scheduled time for JEE Main Exam 2025.
Hall ticket or Admit Card for JEE Main Exam should be downloaded online and it will not be sent by post.
Aspirants should reach the examination hall on time so that they will not miss any of the general instructions that will be given by the exam hall invigilator related to the JEE Main Exam. Candidates will be given an orientation before the examination starts.
Aspirants who will arrive once the on-site orientation begins will not be allowed to appear for the JEE Main Exam 2025.
No candidate will be allowed to leave the exam hall before the completion of the exam duration time.
Negative marks will be deducted for every wrong answer and will badly affect the JEE Main Exam 2025 score obtained by the candidate.
All the questions asked in the exam will be in English and Hindi medium only and the questions will be multiple-choice questions (MCQ) type.
