JEE Main Registration Form: National Testing Agency (NTA) organizes the JEE Main Exam 2023. NTA will conduct this exam for engineering aspirants. Candidates who want admission in IIITs, CFTIs, and NITs have to appear for the JEE Main Exam 2023. For the January session, the JEE Main Session 2 Exam Registration process has been started in the 1st Week of June 2023. And aspirants can register till the 30th of June 2023.

One of the most important processes for the candidates to get selected for the top college in India is to fill out the JEE Main Exam Registration Form. The JEE Main Registration Form Session 2 2023 contains the general information about the candidates along with their course choices and their preferences that will be recorded in their JEE Main Exam Result and based on that details admission will take place. Steps to fill the JEE Main Application Form 2023:

Step 1: Visit the official website of NTA i.e. https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/

Step 2: Click on the “Fill Online Application Form” option.

Step 3: After that, a new page will appear on your device screen where you have to click on the “Registration” option.

Step 4: Again a new page will appear on the screen having some important instructions. Read all the instructions and then click on the “Proceed to Apply Online” button.

Step 5: After that, you can fill in all the relevant details.

Step 6: After filling out the details you can now click on the “submit” button.

Step 7: The next step is to upload the scanned photographs, signature, and documents (if applicable).

Step 8: Now, the candidate has to pay the application fee through E-Challan or Net-Banking.

Step 9: At last, take a print for future reference.

JEE Main Exam Registration Date for 2nd Session:

National Testing Agency (NTA) releases the JEE Main Exam Registration Form 2023 on its official website jeemain.nta.nic.in and the registration can be done through the online mode only. The online registration starts in the month of June 2023 and lasts till the 30th of June 2023. There are 2 sessions for this exam which is held twice a year. In addition, the first session is conducted in the month of January 2023 and the second session is conducted in the month of April 2023.

JEE Main Registration Form 2023: New Changes

Here are some of the changes that are introduced in the JEE Main Exam 2023 that candidates must know:

  1. The exam will be conducted separately for B.E./ B.Tech., B.Arch. & B.Planning courses.
  2. The Application Fee has increased and it will be paid only through the online mode.
  3. In the Exam Pattern of JEE Main, the number of questions has been decreased to 25 in comparison to last year i.e., 30 questions.
  4. The exam will be conducted twice a year which is in the month of January & April in online CBT mode.
  5. In this exam, the age limit criteria have been removed.
  6. To apply for the JEE Main entrance exam, now Aadhar Card is not mandatory.
  7. For the preparation of the candidates, NTA has set up more than 3400 practice centers in the country.
  8. The top 245,000 qualified aspirants will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced.

Before Registration, applicants must keep the following things ready -

  • 10th class mark sheet
  • 12th class mark sheet
  • Scanned copy of candidate’s passport-sized photograph
  • Scanned copy of candidate’s signature
  • Valid ID proof
  • For the Assam, Meghalaya, and Jammu & Kashmir Scanned copy of the candidate’s passport-sized photograph
  • Scanned copy of candidate’s signature
  • Valid ID proof
  • For the Assam, Meghalaya, and Jammu & Kashmir applicants: The Ration card no. or bank account number is required.

  • Birth certificate for age proof

In case the applicant has submitted the fee by Debit card /Credit card then he/she will have to pay an additional charge:

  • Credit card: 1.20% tax + service tax
  • Debit card: 0.75%+ taxes for fees up to INR 2000 and 1% + taxes for a fee more than INR 2000.

NOTE: The candidates are requested to submit only one application form. Multiple forms from one candidate will be rejected.
