Eligibility for UP GNM Exam:

• The Indian Nursing Council (INC) has set standard eligibility criteria for the GNM Nursing diploma course. The eligibility criteria are uniform across the states but the allotment of seats is carried out on the basis of the reservation rules of the respective state.  Below is the eligibility criteria laid by the INC:
•  The aspirant must have cleared class 12 with English and must have secured a minimum of 40 percent in aggregate in the qualifying examination and English separately from any recognized board State Open School recognized Candidates are also eligible for State Open School recognized by the State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However, aspirants with a Science stream will be given preference
• The aspirant must have passed class 12 with English securing 40 percent in aggregate in vocational ANM course from any Institute recognized by the Indian Nursing council
•  The aspirant must be a Registered ANM having a qualifying mark.
