The Indian Army Exam Pattern for various trades consists of different formats of Indian Army Paper. The exam for recruitment of Soldier General Duty comprises a total of 50 questions carrying a total of 100 marks, Soldier tradesman comprises 50 questions carrying 100 marks, Soldier Clerk comprises 50 questions carrying 200 marks, Soldier Technical comprises 50 questions carrying 100 marks and Soldier Nursing assistant (Soldier NA) comprises a total of 50 questions carrying a total of 200 marks.

There are a total of 3 subjects in the recruitment exam pattern for Soldier General Duty. There are a total of 15 questions in the General Knowledge section carrying 30 marks, a total of 20 questions in the General Science section carrying 40 marks, and a total of 15 questions in the Math section carrying 30 marks. Each question carries 2 marks and 0.5 marks will be deducted in case the student has marked any wrong answer. There are a total of 10 questions in the Maths section, carrying a total of 40 marks, a total of 5 questions in the Computer science section, carrying a total of 20 marks, and a total of 25 questions in the General English questions carrying a total of 100 marks.
