1. NDA

The National Defence Academy (NDA) exam is one of the most prestigious exams conducted by UPSC twice a year. This exam is taken by candidates aspiring to join the Indian Armed Forces.

Eligibility Criteria	Candidates should be between 16-19 years of age. A candidate must either be a citizen of India,  a subject of Bhutan, or a subject of Nepal. A candidate should have passed the 12th class from a recognized board. The marital status of the candidate must be Single.

2. CDS

The Combined Defence Service Examination (CDS) is conducted by UPSC to recruit Commissioned Officers in the Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy, and Indian Air Force Academy. Those candidates who see their future can enroll in this exam.

Eligibility Criteria	For the Army- Candidates must be a graduate of any stream. For the Air Force- The Candidate must be a graduate with Maths, Physics and Chemistry as the main subjects. The candidate should be between 18 and 24 years of age. The candidate’s marital status must be Single.

3. AFCAT

 AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test. It is an examination conducted for the candidate who wants to join the Indian Air Force after graduation. An AFCAT-eligible candidate can choose from multiple branches they want to join, such as Flying Branch, Technical Branch, etc.

Eligibility Criteria	Candidate must be a citizen of India. Candidate's age must be: For Flying Branch - 20 to 24 years For Ground Duty - 20 to 26 years Candidate must have completed their Graduation with a minimum of 3 years degree from any recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks.

4. CAPF

CAPF is the Central Armed Police Force. This exam is conducted by UPSC to recruit Assistant Commandant (Group-A) officers. This exam consists of the first stage written exam and the other stages are physical and medical tests.

Eligibility Criteria	Candidate must be a citizen of India. Candidate's age must be between the age group of 20 to 25 years. Candidate must be appearing in the graduation examination or must have  completed their Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university.

5. SSB

It stands for Service Selection Board which is an organization that selects candidates for becoming officers in the Indian Armed Forces. There is no limitation to the number of attempts a candidate can give.

6. RIMC

Rashtriya Indian Military College, or RIMC for short, is a boys’ military school in Doon Valley, Dehradun, India. The Indian Naval Academy, the National Defence Academy eventually the Indian Armed Forces all have their feeder institution in the RIMC.

7. IMU-CET

It stands for the Indian Marine University Common Entrance Test which is administered by Indian Maritime University. This exam is for those candidates who want to pursue the Undergraduate (except B.B.A), Research Program and Post Graduate in this college. The IMU-CET exam scores are used by this college to determine admission.

Eligibility Criteria	There is no age restriction in this exam. Candidate must be 12th passed with a minimum of 50% marks in PCB. Candidate must be graduated in engineering with marks equivalent to 55%.
