GS Defence Academy was established in the year 2014 under the guidance of its founder director Mr. Deependra Singh. The academy provides coaching for NDA, SSB, AFCAT and CDS courses in Dehradun. They train students for both written and physical defence examinations. Their qualified teachers teach students to be a great defence officer. 1) NDA- NDA is a national level examination organized to recruit officers in army,navy and air force.This exam is held in april and september.

• Army: Students should have passed 10+2 from the recognised board.
• Navy, Airforce: Students should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as subjects from a recognised board.

2) CDS - CDS (Common Defence Services) exam is conducted to recruit candidates in IMA, IAFA, INA and OTA.This exam is conducted twice a year in April and September.

Eligibility

• Indian Military Academy and Officers Training Academy- Students must have a 3 year graduation degree from any recognised university.
• Indian Naval Academy- Aspirants must have a bachelor's degree in engineering from any recognised university.
• Air Force- Aspirants must have a bachelor's degree with physics , math at 12 or bachelor in engineering from any recognised university.

3) AFCAT- The AFCAT exam is administered by the Indian Air Force twice a year. Aspirants take the AFCAT exam for the posts in tech and non-tech ground duty and flying.

Eligibility

• Flying Branch- Aspirants must have min 50% in physics and math at 12th standard and bachelor’s degree with min 60% from a recognised university.
• Ground duty- Aspirants must have min 50% marks in physics and math at 12th class and min 60% marks in graduation degree.

4) Airforce- Air Force group X & Y exam is taken by candidates for the post of Airmen. They serve in the air forces as mechanical, medical, security etc.

• For Group X- hould have passed 12th class with min 50% marks with math, physics and english as subjects. 
• For Group Y- Students should have passedStudents s 12th class with min 50% marks.

5) Navy- Aspirants who wish to join the Indian Navy to safeguard the nation's marine borders must have to clear the written and physical exam for it.

6) MNS- MNS exam is taken by candidates for admisison into 4 year BSc nursing course.
