NDA

The full form of NDA is National Defence Academy. NDA was established in 1954 with the aim of training young Cadets to become military officers and bring synergy in all branches of armed forces by providing joint training. After Class 12 aspirants who cleared the exam conducted by UPSC can join NDA. The NDA Exam is conducted two times a year. NDA is the first tri service academy in the world.

CDS

The Combined Defence Services (CDS) is organised by the UPSC for selection of commissioned officers in four academies. The Indian Naval Academy (INA), Indian Military Academy (IMA), Air Force Academy(AFA), and Officers Training Academy (OTA).

AFCAT

The full form of AFCAT is the Air Force Common Admission Test. The exam is organised by the Indian Air Force to find candidates for Group-A positions on ground and flying duties. AFCAT is organised twice a year online. The Test is followed by an interview which is organised by the Air Force Selection Board.
