☛ Ground Duty Branch

  • The ground duty branch is the mechanism that steers the Air Force; it includes managing human and material resources.
  • It is one of the few branches of the Indian Air Force that you can join as an officer.
  • The ground branch is further divided further and has two more branches.
    • Administration (responsible for both human and material resources to carry out various duties.)
    • Logistics (responsible for materials management of all the resources for the Indian Air Force which ensures supervision of inventories and managing various equipment.)
