UP DL Exam Date

UP DL (Driving License) Exam Date: Under the Provisions of the Motor Vehicle Act 1988, The Transport Commissioner's Organisation, headed by a Transport Commissioner and headquartered at Lucknow, deals with various transport related matters like Issue of Driving License, Motor Vehicles Registration, Grant and Renewal of Permits, Collection of Taxes, Road Safety Regulations, etc.

Functioning under the control of the Transport Commissioner, Regional Transport Office (RTO) assumes the responsibility of issuing the driver’s licenses and registering the vehicles in the country which permit the individuals to operate motor vehicles in the country. Once the applicants complete the UP DL Application Process, they can choose their UP DL Exam Date and Slots from the Available Slots.

The concerned authority permits the applicant to choose their UP DL (Driving License) Exam Date and Slot on their own according to their convenience and preference so that it won’t hinder their work schedule. As soon as the applicant finishes the Application Process, he/she can book his/her appointment for giving the UP DL (Driving License) Test by visiting the official website of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India.

Steps to book the UP DL Test Date and Slot:

For booking the UP DL Exam Date and Slot, the applicants have to follow below mentioned easy steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India i.e. https://sarathi.parivahan.gov.in/sarathiservicecov5/stateSelection.do?stCd=UP.

Step 2: Now, the applicants will see an “Appointments” Tab. Click on it.

Step 3: As soon as the applicant clicks on it, a dropdown will appear as shown below:

Step 4: The next step is to click on either Slot Booking LL Test or Slot Booking DL Test as per your requirement. If the applicant has applied for Learner’s Licence then he/she has to click on the “Slot Booking LL Test” and if the applicant has applied for a Driving License then click on “Slot Booking DL Test”.

Step 5: 1) If the applicant has clicked on “Slot Booking LL Test”, he/she will be directed to the LL Test Appointments Page. Now the applicants are required to mention some details:

1. Application Number
2. Applicant’s Date of Birth (In DD/MM/YYYY Format)
3. Verification Code as shown on the Screen 

Once the applicant enters the following details, Click on the “Submit” button.

 If the applicant has clicked on “Slot Booking SL Test”, he/she will be directed to DL Test Appointments Page where he/she has to mention some details:

1. First, Select either Application Number or Learner License Number, whichever you have.
2. Then Enter the Application Number or Learner License Number, Applicant’s Date of Birth (in DD/MM/YYYY Format), and Verification Code as shown on the screen.

Once the applicant enters the following details, Click on the “Submit” button.

Step 6: As soon as the applicant clicks on the “Submit Button”, he/she will be shown the available slots in a new tab. Now the applicants have to choose their UP DL Exam Date and Slot as per their preference. Check the availability of your preferred slot also.

Step 7: Now, Click on “Confirm”. Once the applicant clicks on the “Confirm” Button, an acknowledgment will be displayed showing the confirmation of your preferred slot.

It is the duty of an applicant to be sincerely present before the time at the UP DL Test Centre on the UP DL (Driving License) Exam Date with all the necessary documents.

The applicants must ensure that they thoroughly come prepared with all the subjects given in the UP DL Syllabus to score good marks in the UP DL Online Test.

1. Traffic Signs, Traffic Signals, and Rules & Regulations Related to Motor Vehicles Act.
2. The Duties of a Responsible Driver while driving on the road.

4. The Necessary Documents are required to be kept in the car while traveling.  

Note: All the applicants should try to reach at least 30 minutes before the actual UP DL Online Exam on the UP DL (Driving License) Exam Date.
