About UP DL Exam (Driving License): UP Driving License is an official document that is issued by the Regional Transport Office (RTO) and it permits the individual whose name is written on the same to operate motor vehicles like cars, bikes, buses, etc on roads. A driving License looks like a small plastic card just as the debit or credit card looks. The Road Transport Association is responsible for setting the rules and regulations regarding the issue of license in Uttar Pradesh and The Regional Transport Office (RTO) is the Government of India Bureau which is responsible for issuing the driver’s licenses and registering the vehicles in the country.
For getting the UP DL (Driving License), the applicants have to go through an Online Test and a Driving Test. The Online Test is a theory-based test in which he/she will be asked 15 questions and out of which a minimum of 9 need to be correct in order to get the Driving License. For being eligible to apply for UP DL (Driving License), the applicant should have completed 18 years of age. If the person is applying for a commercial driving license, then he/she must have attained the age of at least 20 years.
There are basically 3 types of UP DLs (Driving License) based on the kind of vehicle which the applicant is planning to drive. The applicants need to apply for a driving license as per their needs.
