UP DL Exam Admit

UP DL Admit Card:

The Uttar Pradesh Regional Transport Offices (RTOs) do not hold any responsibility for releasing the UP DL Admit Card for the applicants. Instead, the printout of the Applicant’s Duly Filled Online Application Form for UP DL, Fee Receipt, and Slot Booking Receipt act as their UP DL Exam Admit Card which permits them to appear for the UP DL (Driving License) Online Test. 

Every year, Uttar Pradesh Regional Transport Offices (RTOs) receive an increased number of applications for the Learning License and Driving License. 

All the applicants who wish to obtain their Driving License or Learning License, have to fill out an online application for the same. As soon as the applicant completes the UP DL Application Process, he/she has to pay the fees and book the UP DL Exam Date & Slot.

After completing the whole process, the applicant can get the printout of his/her application form which he/she has filled, his/her fee receipt, and slot booking receipt. These documents have to be compulsorily taken by the applicants while going for their Driving Skill Test. 

Along with the above-mentioned documents, the applicants need to take a photocopy of their Address Proof and their Age Proof for verification purposes. 

While filling the UP DL Online Application Form, the Applicants are required to submit Application in Form No.2, their Passport Size Photograph, Copy of their Official Signature, Proof of Address (Passport, Ration Card, Voter’s Identity Card, etc.), and Proof of Age (Passport, Voter’s Identity Card, Birth Certificate, 10th Marksheet, etc.).

As such, the Uttar Pradesh RTOs don’t release any official UP, DL Admit Card, on their official website but they ask for the UP DL Online Application Form Printout, Slot Booking Receipt, and Fee Payment Receipt, before allowing the applicants to appear for the UP DL Online Test.

Eligibility Criteria:

The applicants before going to appear in the UP DL (Driving License) Online Test should meet the following mentioned criteria:

  • For geared light motor vehicles, the applicant should have attained the age of 18 or above.
  • For non-geared vehicles, the applicant should have attained the age of 16 years and he/she must obtain the consent of his/her parents or guardians before applying for UP Driving License.
  • In the case of commercial driving of transport vehicles, the candidate must have obtained 1-year prior experience before applying for the UP DL.
  • In all cases, It is mandatory to obtain a Medical Certificate.

Important Points to Note 

After obtaining the Duly filled UP DL Online Application Form, Slot Booking Receipt and Fee Receipt, which act as UP DL Admit Card and before going for UP DL Practical Test, the applicants are required to note the following important points on which the Motor Vehicle Officer may judge them in the Practical Test:   

  • The appropriate use of mirrors
  • Obeying the Traffic Signals and Rules
  • Unnecessary Use of Horn
  • Unacceptable Driving Speed
  • Control over Steering
  • Driving in Reverse Direction
  • Inappropriate Sitting Position
  • Driving with Safety

It has been observed that minor mistakes in the above-mentioned points lead to failure of the applicants in the UP DL (Driving License) Practical Test due to which they can’t get their Driving License and have to appear again for the test.

Note: Since the concerned authority does not release any official UP DL (Driving License) Admit Card, they need proper documents (Printout of Online Application Form, Slot Booking Receipt, and Fee Payment Receipt) for verification. Only if the applicant has the above-mentioned documents, they will allow him/her to appear in the UP DL Online/Offline Test.
