How will you calculate your scores based on the RRB NTPC exam results?
The RRB NTPC Results are declared about 10 to 15 days after the exam. To calculate the scores the candidate must have knowledge of the exam pattern.

Every correct answer carries 1 mark.
0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong answer.
The total score of the candidate = Total marks for the correct answer- Total marks for the wrong answers.

The CBT I and CBT II are qualifying in nature and the candidates have to secure the required percentage in order to pass the Computer-based exams of Stage I and Stage II.

The CBT I and CBT II are qualifying in nature. The total marks included in CBT I is 100 and the total marks included in CBT II is 120. The topics included in CBT I and CBT II are General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, and Mathematics. Both the marks of CBT I and CBT II are calculated as normalized scores for the candidate to become eligible for the next stage of the exam.
Candidates who qualify for the CBT II will become eligible for the CBAT Test. There are several sessions in this test and the candidate needs to qualify for each session for this examination. The CBAT Test is held for the candidate to apply for the vacant positions of Traffic Assistant and Station ping skill master.
The qualifying marks for the CBAT exams are 42 for each test session and the marks are allotted to the candidates on the basis of their performance. The marks for the CBAT exams do not have any preference based on the caste category of the candidate.
The Merit List for the CBAT Test is prepared by allotting 30% weight to CBAT and 70% weight to CBT II Exams.
This exam is qualifying in nature and the candidates are selected for this exam on the basis of their performance in CBT II. This exam is held to fill up the vacant positions of Junior Accounts Assistant, Junior Timekeeper, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist. The scores of this exam are not added to the final Merit list. Applicants about 8 times the number of vacancies are called for this category of the exam.
The candidates who have successfully qualified for the CBT II, CBAT, and the Typing Skill test will appear for the Document Verification based on the position that they have applied for. In addition to the above 50% of the number of candidates who have qualified for the exams are also called for document verification depending upon the number of vacancies.
In case 2 or more candidates get the same marks the Railway Recruitment Board adopts the tie-breaking policy to select the qualified candidate. Details of the tie-breaking policy are given below:
