Puducherry TET/ TN TET has an MCQ-based question paper, the exam is divided into two papers- Paper I and Paper II. The duration of each paper will be 2 hours 30 minutes, which means that you will get 2.5 hours to solve the question paper. Both papers will consist of 150 Multiple Choice Questions.
Candidates will be given four answer choices for each question and he/she has to choose the correct option among the four given choices. For every correct answer, the candidate will be given one mark and for wrong answers, no mark will be given.
The candidate will not face any negative markings for the wrong answers. Paper I will be divided into 5 sections, each section will contain 30 questions which means each section will carry a marks weightage of 30 marks.

Many Candidates ask the question “how many marks are required to pass a TET exam ?” Well, the minimum required marks are different for General and Reserved Category candidates. A General category candidate has to score at least 60% to pass the TET exam whereas candidates belonging to the reserved category (SC/ST/OBC) get a relaxation of 5%, hence they need to score 55% to pass the exam.
