PTET Exam Date 2025

Directorate of School Education, Puducherry has not released any notification regarding the state TET examination that is supposed to be held this year. As usual, the Teachers Recruitment Board will accept the candidates who qualified the TNTET , CTET or any relevant state’s TET exam. Check the recent notifications of the Puducherry TET exam here :

The Puducherry TET examination has not been held since the year 2012 , So the Puducherry TET Exam date 2025 is not expected to be released this year too.  Now the recruitment in Government schools of Puducherry is done on the basis of TET examination conducted by Tamil Nadu , Central Government , Kerala and Andhra Pradesh.

The candidates can receive the notification of the respective TET exams through the official website of the exam conducting authority of the state. All the aspirants are advised to stay updated with the latest news and notifications posted by the concerned authorities.

For the last two years, the schedule of all state-level and national level examinations including Tamil Nadu TET got adversely affected due to the CoronaVirus pandemic.The Puducherry TET Exam Date 2025/ TNTET Exam date 2025 is not released by the authorities in the wake of 2nd wave of covid19.

Most of the examinations are either postponed, scrapped, or canceled due to the cause. Since it is a Pen and Paper exam that needs to have a physical presence of the candidate in the examination hall which increases the risk of the mass spread of the infection, so authorities decided to delay the exam till the situation gets under control.
