Maha TET Exam 2024

Maharashtra TET Exam: Maharashtra TET or Maha TET is a state-level Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). Which is conducted by the Maharashtra state council of examination. The Maha TET Exam 2024 is conducted to check the eligibility of the candidates for the recruitment to become a teacher in the school of Maharashtra. 

In Maha TET 2024 Exam is divided into 2 parts - 1. Primary section i.e. paper I. 2. Upper primary section i.e. paper II. Candidates who want to become a teacher of the primary section (class 1st to 5th) need to sit in the examination for a paper I.

Candidates who want to become a teacher of the upper primary section (6th to 8th) need to appear in the examination for paper II. Candidates who are willing to become a teacher of both primary and upper primary sections need to appear for both examination.

Age Limit For Fill the Maha TET Exam Form:

  • In Maha TET eligibility criteria there is no age limit to apply for the Maharashtra TET.
  • But make sure that the aspirant must be 18 years old.
  • Deserving candidates must be citizens of India.
  • There is a 5% relaxation provided to the reserved category which is provided as per the rule of the Maharashtra State Government.
  • Candidate appearing for paper -I in Maha TET examination must have passed his/her intermediate with the minimum score of 60% cleared.
  • If he/she is appearing for 2 years of diploma in Bachelor of Elementary education.
  • 2-year diploma in special education.
  • 4 years bachelor of elementary education (B.Ed/B.E.I).
  • An aspirant who is appearing for Paper-II must secure 60% at the graduation level.
  • Appearing in 4 years of B.Ed, B.E.I or cleared.
  • Appearing for 2 years of diploma in elementary education.
  • 1 year in special education.

Maharashtra TET Exam Notification paper 2 is divided into 4 sections. The first 3 sections contain 30 questions of 30 marks. The candidate must have to remember that they have to finish their exam in the given time limit only. In the fourth section, you have to attempt questions from the 2 subject groups (i) Mathematics and science group/social science group. In 4 sections there are 60 questions of 60 marks.
