APS TGT/PGT/PRT Exam Syllabus 2025:

The APS TGT/PGT/PRT Exam Syllabus has been prescribed by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) on the official Online Registration Portal of Army Public Schools https://aps-csb.in/College/Index_New.aspx

The candidates must visit the online registration portal of Army Public Schools to download the APS TGT/PGT/PRT Exam Syllabus to give this paper more confidently. The APS TGT/PGT/PRT Syllabus is designed to provide the right direction to the candidates in terms of their preparation for this exam. The APS TGT/PGT/PRT Exam will be conducted in an online mode for all the candidates and the questions will be Multiple Choice Based.

Important Details related to APS TGT/PGT/PRT Exam: 

  1. For the PGT/TGT, there will be 2 parts of the Exam: Part A and Part B. The syllabus for both of them is different.
  2. For PRT, there will be only 1 part of the exam i.e. Part A. 
  3. The candidates who have applied for TGT/PGT should note that if they are passed in Part A but failed in Part B, may choose to get the SCORECARD for PRT but only if they meet the PRT Minimum Qualification Requirements.

there will be a small section of questions related to the parallel subjects. For e.g., In TGT Biology Paper will have 10 questions each of Chemistry and Physics; In TGT Geography Paper, there will be 10 questions each of History and Political Science.

The candidates who are willing to appear for Sanskrit and Hindi teachers will have to attempt a bilingual paper where a small portion of the question paper will be in English only as they are going to work in English Medium Schools. 

General Instructions related to APS TGT/PGT/PRT Exam Syllabus:

  • From this year only, there is a change in the pattern of Exam Papers for TGT Social Science and Science, as, in the previous years, a small portion of questions from parallel subjects were not included in the Online Screening Test. 
  • From this year, the candidates who are appearing for the vacant positions of Sanskrit and Hindi Teachers will now have to face a bilingual paper wherein a small portion of the paper will be in the English Language because they are going to be recruited in English Medium Schools. 
  • The candidates who wish to avail of the Sample Papers should note that they have to pay online only through the Registration Portal of Army Public Schools for the Sample Papers, payment through any other mode will not be acceptable. 
  • Once the candidates pay for the sample papers, they will be made available online to the candidates as there is no provision for sending hard copies of sample papers.
