The candidates who are applying for the APTET Exam can check the APTET Exam report card 2024 that is published on the official website, i.e., https://cse.ap.gov.in/ according to the data released by the department of school education, the government of Andhra Pradesh. There are very simple steps involved in checking the results, which the candidates can refer to.
The Department of School Education has determined certain qualifying criteria and relaxations that differ with respect to the categories. Candidates coming under the OC Category are required to score a minimum of 60% marks to qualify for the exam. The candidates coming under the BC Category are required to have scored the minimum mark of 50% on the respective exam. Those candidates who fall in the category of SC, ST, persons with disability, etc., are required to have scored at least 40% in the exam.
A weightage of 20% is provided for the APTET scores in the teacher recruitment process. Meanwhile, 80% of weightage is given to the written test during the process of teacher recruitment. The selection process is ensured according to the results of these two tests, respectively. Therefore, the selection process for recruiting teachers does not solely depend on the APTET scores, as they are not the only criteria for the appointment of teachers.
There is a very substantial significance of the APTE Exam that allows certain opportunities for candidates in order to get relevant options or gain employment as teachers in primary and upper primary schools. There are few candidates who can be exempted from appearing in the APTET Exam 2024. Those teachers who were appointed by the recruitment rules of the competent authority of government/ local authority, which were prevalent before NCTE notification on 23.08.2010, are exempted from the exam.
