About, RTC Kota:

Rajasthan Technical University, Kota was established in 2006 by the Rajasthan Government. The university is situated in the Kota district of Rajasthan and it is a public university. Earlier it was known as an Engineering College, Kota. The aim of the university establishment was to impart technical knowledge in the state of Rajasthan. The university is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). 

Rajasthan Technical University, Kota is affiliated with around 68 engineering colleges, 16 MCA colleges, 3 B.Arch colleges, 31 M.Tech colleges, 39 MBA colleges, 1 Hotel Management and Catering Institute, 1 M.Arch college. More than 1.5 lakhs students study in the affiliated college of the Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. Admission to the university is based on the entrance examination marks scored by the students. These are the entrance exams accepted by the university CMAT/RTUCAAT/ RTU DAT/ JEE Mains/ GATE/ REAP/ RTU CAM/ RMAT.  

The university offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in various streams to the students. Undergraduate courses are Bachelor of Technology,  Bachelor of Architecture, and Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology. Postgraduate courses are Master of Technology, Master of Architecture, Master of Business Management, Master of Computer Application. Along with these the Rajasthan Technical University also offers a Doctorate of Philosophy in various streams.
