The JECRC institute was established in Jaipur, Rajasthan in 2012. The institute was established with the vision of becoming a renowned centre of higher learning and working towards academic, professional, cultural, and social enrichment of the lives of individuals and communities. The JECRC institute is approved by AICTE (All India Council Technical Education) and UGC (University Grant Commission). The institute is one of the renowned colleges of Rajasthan, and the courses offered at the institute are approved by AICTE & UGC. The institute is accredited by the NBA (National Board of Accreditation) and NAAC (National Accreditation and Assessment Council). The mission of the institute was:

• To Focus on research and the spirit of innovation that will drive academic orientation and pursuit at JECRC University.
• To Identify, based on an informed perception of Indian, regional, and global needs, areas of focus and specialization on which the University can concentrate.
• To Undertake collaborative projects that offer opportunities for long-term interaction between academia and industry.
• To develop human potential to its fullest extent so that intellectually capable and imaginatively gifted leaders can emerge in a range of professions.

The JECRC institute is privately owned, and the college campus is spread over 23 acres. The JECRC campus is located at Plot No.IS-2036 to 2039, Ramchandrapura Industrial Area, Vidhani, Sitapura Extension, Jaipur - 303905 Rajasthan, India. The institute offers various UG, PG, and PhD courses. The institute offers over 23 programs over different streams and offers almost 104 courses. The institute is ranked 31 for Private Universities by The Week 2025 and ranked 69 in universities by The Week 2025.
