Suresh Gyan Vihar University (SGVU) is the first Private University in the State of Rajasthan. It has been accredited the A Grade by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). The main motto of this University is to enhance Higher Education in the State of Rajasthan. It also aims to deliver the highest quality of Technical Education and learning to the students in and around Rajasthan.

Suresh Gyan Vihar University was given the status of State University by the Government of Rajasthan under Act No 16 of 2008. This University offers several courses in different disciplines. These courses include undergraduate, postgraduate, integrated courses, dual degrees, and Doctorate courses.

Suresh Gyan Vihar University has been approved by the All India Council of Technical Education(AICTE) and University Grants Commission (UGC). On completion of 5 years in academic excellence, the University has also been a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Suresh Gyan Vihar University has collaborated with renowned universities like the University of Cincinnati, Cyberjaya University, University of Wolverhampton, Mapua Institute of Technology, Daffodil International University, and many others.

The infrastructure of Suresh Gyan Vihar University

The campus of Suresh Gyan Vihar University covers an area of 32 acres and is located in the picturesque city of Jaipur, Rajasthan.SGVU has a modernized infrastructure with all the facilities available to make the students comfortable. 

Hostels

SGVU has separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The hostels are equipped with all the modern amenities to make the stay of the students enjoy. The hostels consist of well-furnished, clean, and hygienic rooms. The hostels offer an aura of cooperation and the students can participate in many activities that will help them to grow and prosper.

Both the boy's and the girl's hostels have well-ventilated rooms that are completely secured. The rooms are available on single occupancy and sharing basis. The hostels have a mess facility that serves hygienic and tasty food. There are reading rooms for the students and a common room having LCD Television and indoor games.

Library

Suresh Gyan Vihar University has a well-equipped library open on all days of the week with multimedia and automated facilities. The library provides separate areas for reading and reference. Each student is issued 3 library cards and the students have access to books, journals, magazines, nonprintable materials, and audiovisual resources.

Sports

SGVU has a sports complex consisting of football, basketball, and volleyball courts. A 6 lane athletic track is also present and the students are encouraged to participate in tournaments and sports meets.

Gymnasium

Suresh Gyan Vihar University has a modernized gymnasium with all kinds of equipment. The gymnasium has a personal fitness trainer who helps the students to maintain a healthy body along with a sound mind. 

Cafeteria

Suresh Gyan Vihar University has a clean and hygienic cafeteria that provides sumptuous food and beverages for the students. The cafeteria is also a place for meetings and discussions and helps the students to rejuvenate after their classes.

SGVU has a fleet of buses for the students that operate from all the important points of Jaipur.
