Suresh Gyan Vihar University Admission Process 2025-24

SGVU provides admission for undergraduate, postgraduate, and Doctorate courses. The admission process is online and the candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria for the courses can apply on the official portal of the University.

At the Undergraduate level, the University offers several courses in Engineering, Humanities, Hotel Management, Law, Education, Business Administration, and Pharmaceutical studies. Postgraduate courses offered by the University include Applied Sciences, Education, Humanities, and Business Administration.

Suresh Gyan Vihar University has been accredited the A grade by NAAC and all the courses offered by the University are approved and recognized. The University also offers courses in Sustainable Development goals, Computer Applications, and Commerce. In addition to these courses, Ph.D. programs, and Diploma courses are also offered by the University.

Undergraduate courses

Admission to all the undergraduate courses is merit-based and depends on the marks obtained by the student in the Class 12 Board exams. Besides this Suresh Gyan Vihar University conducts entrance exams for the different courses SGVUEE(Suresh Gyan Vihar University Entrance exam. BTech(Lateral entry)- Merit-based
BBA LLB- Class 12 Boards + SGVUEE/CLAT.

Post Graduate courses

Admission to all the post-graduate courses is merit-based, which is based on the marks obtained by the student in Graduation in the relevant subject. Besides this, the admission criteria also depend on the score of the entrance exams for the different courses and SGVUEE. Diploma/Diploma (Lateral entry)

Admission to the Diploma courses at SGVU depends on the marks obtained by the candidate in Class 10 Board exams from a recognized Institute.
Admission to Diploma(Lateral entry) is based on the marks obtained by the candidate in Class 12 exams with the relevant subjects.
Diploma in Hotel Management is based on the marks obtained by the candidates in Class 12 from a recognized Board or any similar exam approved by AIU.

Doctorate programs

Admission to the Ph.D. programs offered by Suresh Gyan Vihar University depends on the score obtained by the candidates in SGVUEE.
Candidates who have qualified either of the following UGC NET/CSIR NET/GATE/ICAR can apply for the desired PhD program directly.

Suresh Gyan Vihar University Application process:

The Application process for SGVU is online and usually takes place in the month of June. Candidates can visit the official website of the University and “Register for Admission” by filling up the required details.

Click the “Apply now” option.
Fill in the necessary details in the Application form.
The details to be filled up include the full name of the candidate, e-mail ID, Contact number, educational qualification, desired course for admission.
Click the submit option.
Pay the Application fee through any of the following modes: Credit card/Debit Card/Net banking.
You can also pay the Application fee through e Challan that will be generated online. The amount can be deposited to Axis Bank in any part of the country.
Click the submit button.

Offline submission of Application form:

Offline payment of the Application fee can be done by the candidate by Demand draft. The fee can be submitted to the Finance Department of Suresh Gyan Vihar University at the following address:
