The teacher Eligibility Test is shortly known as TET and is introduced by the Government of India for the recruitment of teachers. This is an entrance exam for the teachers. This exam has been conducted since 2011. This exam is divided into Paper 1 and Paper 2. The Paper 1 exam is to recruit teachers of classes 1 to 5. And paper 2 is for recruiting teachers of classes 6 to 8. The full form of UPTET is Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test and it is conducted by both central as well as state governments of India. In most the cases, state government conducts the exams by themselves. TET is held in offline mode for Paper 1 and Paper 2 for the recruitment of the teachers of classes 1 to 8 in the schools of Tamil Nadu. Those candidates who all are aspiring to be teachers from class 1 to 5, have to take paper 1, on the other hand, candidates wanting to be the teachers from class 6th to 8th is needed to appear in paper 2.

Full Form UPTET (Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test)

The full form of UPTET is the Uttar Pradesh teacher eligibility test The UPTET Exam will be conducted by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board for the recruitment of Primary and Upper Primary Level teachers for U.P.-based schools. This is a state-level test, which will provide the qualified candidate with the opportunity to become an assistant teacher in various junior schools of Uttar Pradesh. The board will soon release all the important information about this entrance test. Eligibility Criteria UPTET 

For Primary and Secondary teachers as well (class 1 to 5):
1. The applicants should have passed the intermediate examination with at least 50% marks.
2. Those who are studying in the final year of B.EL.ED can apply for UPTET.
3. Those who all are graduated and are studying in the 2nd year of BTC from NCTE affiliated are eligible.
4. Those applicants who all are in their final year or have passed a diploma in teaching from AMU are allowed to fill the forms.

Full Form of MPTET (Madhya Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test)

Full form of MPTET Madhya Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test. This test is for Middle School Teachers. MP TET Eligibility Criteria

All interested candidates should follow below given MP TET Eligibility Conditions:
1. There 2 initial formation phases for MP TET Eligibility Criteria has include 2 classes that’s primary Level and also the other one is higher primary level.
2. For the teacher of primary level, candidates are needed to complete their senior secondary level examination by scoring a minimum of 50% marks.
3. Candidates should be completed their B.Ed. an examination from any recognized college/institute after graduation.

Full Form of HTET (Haryana Teacher’s Eligibility Test)

HTET is a state-level entrance examination administered by the Board of School Education, Haryana, Bhiwani. This test is organized to assess the candidate's aptitude and ability to meet the growing challenges faced by teachers of teaching in schools like primary, elementary and senior secondary levels. The full form of HTET Exam can easily be understood by the hanging itself. The entrance test will be conducted according to the guidelines laid down by the National Council for Teacher Education/ Department of School Education, Haryana. This board will start the online application process for HTET in November. In the third week of December, the admit cards will be available. 

HTET Eligibility Criteria are as follows

1st level: Minimum qualification to teach the class I to V. Candidates must have 50% marks in class 12th and completed or pursuing a 2 years diploma in elementary education.
Level 2: Minimum qualification of teaching to the class VI to VIII. Candidates Passed or appeared in the final year of graduation, completed or pursued 2 years diploma in elementary education in any of the streams.
Level 3: Minimum qualification to teach higher classes should be these: Candidates must be completed graduation, passed or appeared in the final year of post-graduation, and must be completed or pursuing 2 years of diploma in elementary education in any of the streams.

Full form of BETET (Bihar Elementary Teacher Eligibility Test)

The full form of BETET is Bihar School Examination Board will conduct BETET Exam in offline mode to check the candidate's eligibility for appointment as a teacher for primary and elementary classes. All the eligible candidates can apply for BETET in an online mode tentatively in April. As per the exam conducting body, the exam will be conducted for two papers are paper I (Class I to V) and Paper-II (Class VI to VIII). Candidates who qualify for the BETET eligibility test will be awarded TET eligibility certificates and they will be able to apply in governments and private schools of Bihar. 

Eligibility criteria for the BTET Exam:

For Teachers I-V classes (Paper-1):

  • Candidates must be passed class 10th with a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent to that
  • Students appearing in Final Four year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.ED)/2-year diploma in Elementary Education/2 year Diploma in Education in Special Education are also eligible to appear in Bihar TET Exam 
  • Students, having a degree of B.Sc./B.A. and those who are appearing in final year in B.SC/ D.ED/BA/ course with the aggregate of 45% marks and passed/appearing in Senior Secondary /B.ED with a minimum of 50% marks as well as passed or appearing in final four years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.ED) / 4 years BA/B.SC, B.ED or BA (ED)/BSC. (ED)/B.ED (Special Education) with a score of 50% marks in B.Sc /BA or are eligible for Bihar TET can teach class VI-VIII

Full form of CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test)

The CTET Central Teacher Eligibility is the Full form of CTET and this test is a national level entrance exam for the job of teaching. The Government of India introduced the CTET Exam in 2011 for improving the quality of education in the schools and to meet the goals of the education-free scenario for the children under the Act of education effectively. Under the NCTE National Council of Teachers Education notification sub-section of Section 23 of the RTE, This exam is now mandatory to get the government jobs in the schools to teach students of class 1st to class 8th.

Eligibility Criteria for CTET Exam:

  • Graduated with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in B.Ed, B.Ed. and with Special Education
  • Graduated with at least 45% marks and passed in 1-year Bachelor in Education B.Ed with the NCTE
  • Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in an Elementary Education

Full form of UTET (Uttrakhand Teacher Eligibility Test)

The Government of Uttarakhand conducts Uttarakhand TET for all the aspiring candidates, who want to become teachers of primary level and upper primary levels. The full form of UTET is Uttrakhand Teacher Eligibility Test UTET is conducted in two major positions and hence candidates will be given suitable and deserving opportunities. With the help of marks secured, anyone can get primary levels of teaching jobs and they are eligible to become upper primary levels of teachers. Candidates should have a B.Ed qualification to apply for this exam. 

Eligibility criteria for UTET Exam:

1. Candidates should not be more than 38 years.
2. All candidates have to be senior secondary with 45% marks along with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
3. Candidates should have cleared higher secondary with a minimum mark of 50% along with a 2-year diploma in education.

Full form of OTET (Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test)

OTET is a type of exam which is also known as the Odisha Teachers Eligibility Test and its Full form of OTET. This test is conducted for the post of the teachers in the state of Odisha and it is done by the Board of Secondary Education Cuttack. These CTET examinations are having two levels the exam, i.e., primary and upper primary. There are certain rules, regulations under the authority of central regulatory. Those applicants who all are requested to apply for the exam can see it from the official website. Through online application forms, candidates can apply for OTET Exams. Eligibility criteria for OTET Exams:

  • Higher Secondary Education qualification (+2 or it is equivalent) with at least 50% marks and Two-year Diploma in Elementary Education
  • Graduation Degree along with Two-year Diploma in Elementary Education/ 2-year Diploma in Special Education
  • Candidates must ensure OTET Eligibility Criteria and match their education status

Full form of ATET (Assam Teacher Eligibility Test)

The Assam Teacher Eligibility Test is the Full form of ATET, abbreviated as Assam TET, which is conducted by the Department of School Education, which is also known as the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), of the State Government of Assam. Assam TET Exam is the deciding factor for the recruitment of teachers in the government as well as private schools of Assam. Candidates who are looking forward to building up a career as a teacher in any government or private school of Assam. They have to appear for this exam and fulfill all of its eligibility criteria.

Eligibility criteria for ATET:

1. Candidates should have passed in Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks. Those who all are appearing in final 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
2. A 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) A two-year Diploma in Education in Special Education is also eligible.
3. Candidates with BA / B.Sc. with 50% marks and B.Ed qualified can also apply.
