Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test Exam 2025

HTET is Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test 2025. It is a state-level entrance exam and the purpose of this examination is to become a teacher in the State of Haryana. HTET Exam is conducted by the Haryana Board of School Education. This is the online mode of examination and candidates can check the HTET Exam notification which will be released in Oct 2025.

The foundation of the Board of School Education Haryana was laid down in 1969. Formerly, it was recognized as the Haryana Board of School Education [HBSE]. It has authorization for regulating the Haryana TET Examinations at Middle, Matric, and Senior Secondary School levels yearly in the Haryana state. Every year, Haryana Board recruits eligible candidates for various teaching posts through Haryana TET Exam.

HTET Exam is an abbreviated form of the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test. Haryana TET is a state-level entrance examination administered by the Board of School Education, Haryana, Bhiwani. HTET is organized to assess the candidate's aptitude and ability to meet the growing challenges faced by teachers of teaching in schools like primary, elementary, and senior secondary levels. Notification 2025:

HTET Notification - The Board of Education Haryana has announced the HTET Exam Dates for HTET Form 2025. The Haryana TET Exam is scheduled to be held soon. The HTET Online Registration process will start from October 2025 and the last date for registration is 18th October 2025.

Haryana TET entrance exam is having to the recruitment of teachers in Haryana State. Every year the State Government organizes this exam for the various posts of Teachers. Aspirants who wish to make a career in the field of Teachers can apply for HTET Exam 2025. 

There are 3 levels of the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET):

1. Trained Graduate Teaching level (TGT)
2. Post Graduate  Teaching level (PGT)

HTET Exam Process 2025:

The entrance test will be conducted according to the guidelines laid down by the National Council for Teacher Education/ Department of School Education, Haryana. This board will start the online application process for HTET in November 2025. In the third week of December 2025, the HTET Admit Card 2025 will be accessible. Candidates who want to make their career in teaching in the Haryana State can fill the HTET Application Form online. Before applying for the application form, candidates should read the notification carefully. The Haryana State Government has the right to change or modify the eligibility and qualification criteria. Once the candidates are qualified Haryana TET Exam then they will be eligible to teach in the Government School recognized by the Department of School Education. Previously, it was known as State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET). 

Eligibility for HTET 2025:

Haryana TET Exam is a level of Exam which is recruitment for the teachers in the State of Haryana. In this exam, there are 2 papers in which Paper- 1 is meant for teachers opting for class 1st to class 5th and Paper- 2 is meant for teachers opting for class 6th to class 8th, and Paper- 3 is conducted to recruit the teacher of class 9th to 12th. Before filling the Haryana TET Application Form, aspirants must go through the eligibility criteria. Eligibility is based on 2 criteria of candidate’s education qualification and age limit for the post which are mentioned below:

Education Qualification:

• Aspirants who are applying for the post of PRT must have qualified in the D.Ed exam or JBT exam.
• Aspirants who are applying for the post of Trained Graduate Test (TGT), must have a graduation degree and B.Ed in relevant subjects. 
• Aspirants who are applying for the post of Post Graduate Test (PGT), must have a post-graduation degree and B.Ed in relevant subjects.

Age Criteria for HTET Exam 2025:

Aspirants who are applying for this exam should have a minimum age of 18 years and maximum age of 38 years.

Level 1: Minimum qualification to teach a class I to V. Candidates must have 50% marks in class 12th and completed or pursuing a 2 years diploma in elementary education.

Level 2: Minimum qualification of teaching to the class VI to VIII. Candidates Passed or appeared in the final year of graduation, completed or pursued 2 years diploma in elementary education in any of the streams.

Level 3: Minimum qualification to teach higher classes should be these: Candidates must be completed graduation, passed, or appear in the final year of post-graduation and must be completed or pursuing 2 years of diploma in elementary education in any of the streams.
