✍ HTET Paper comprises multiple-choice questions. One mark will be awarded for each correct answer. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers. You can see the HTET Exam Pattern 2025 for all papers below.
✍ Level I – For becoming a Primary Teacher for Classes I - Vth:
Aspirant candidates should need to appear for only one paper. There will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and each question carries one mark. In the question paper, you will have four alternative choices in which you have to anyone answer. The total No. of MCQs are 150 and the time duration of the examination will be Two-and-a-half hours.

Language Of Question Papers: All questions except those concerning language subjects, will be bilingual i.e. Hindi and English.
VII. Frequency of Conduct of HTET, Number of Available Attempts to Appear, and Validity Period of HTET Certificate:
(i) The Validity Period of the HTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be five years from the date of declaration of result for all levels.
Improvement in HTET Score: Candidates who have qualified STET/ HTET can improve their performance in it.
