UPSC examination holds great renown and presents formidable challenges within the nation, as it selects individuals for diverse administrative positions such as IAS, IFS, IPS, and numerous others.

  • The UPSC examination has 3 Stages: Preliminary, Main, and Personality Test
  1. Preliminary Exam: General Studies – Current Affairs, Indian History, Polity, Geography, Economy, Science & Technology, etc.
  2. Mains Exam: Essay, General Studies papers (covering similar topics as Prelims in greater depth), and an Optional Subject chosen by the candidate.
  3. Interview: Knowledge, communication, attitude, ability, personality and suitability for the civil service.
  • UPSC exams have a very wide range of topics and subjects, and they are divided into papers for preliminary exams and 9 for main exams. For preliminary exams, there are subjects like present-day activities, records, geography, polity, financial system, surroundings and technology.

  • And if we talk about the main syllabus consists of essays about the Indian historical past and way of life, governance, constitution, polity, social justice, worldwide relations, generation, financial improvement, biodiversity, environment, protection, disaster control, ethics, integrity, flair and optional subjects.

  • UPSC exams are not easy exams to crack; they require a lot of planning, hard work and dedication. As this is not easy then, candidates should use some tips to pass the exam.
