UPSC Exam Application Form 2026

Here is the step-by-step process for applying to the UPSC exam 2026.

1. So the first step is to visit the official website of UPSC, that is, www.upsc.gov.in or  www.upsconline.nic.in, and there you will find the application online.

2. Then click on the “Online Application for Various Examinations of UPSC'' link and select which exam you want to apply to, like civil services, as per your choice.

3. Read the instructions and click on the “Part I registration” link. There, enter your details like name, date of birth, gender, category, nationality, etc., and click on “Continue.”

4. Enter your email, phone number, address, and other contact details.

5. Now, you can select your exam center and your optional subjects, and after selecting that, click on continue.

6. After that, you must agree to the declaration and submit the part I registration. You must note down your registration ID and password for future reference.

7. Now it's time to click on part II registration and use your registration ID and password to log in.

8. After that, pay the fees for the application of 110 rs (except for female/SC/ST/PwBD candidates who are exempted), and you can pay online and offline mode.

9. You also have to upload your scanned photograph, and the size should not exceed 300 kb, and the minimum is 20 kb. Also, you have to upload a signature, too, and the signature size should be between 20-300 kb, and it should be in jpeg format.

10. And lastly, print the confirmation page and save it for future reference.
