The UPPSC Main Exam is, as evident by the name, the most important examination as the marks secured by the candidate are the deciding marker for the selection. The UPPSC Exam Syllabus for Mains has recently changed and the updated syllabus is available for students on the online website.

There are mainly two changes in the UPPSC Syllabus 2020 for Mains, which are :

  • The objective-type paper has been discredited and instead descriptive type papers are introduced. The students are required to write descriptive answers for the questions rather than ticking the correct answer, as was the case in the objective-type.
