NIHFW Exam Pattern 2024

NIHFW Exam Pattern: The NIHFW Exam is subjected to a particular pattern according to which the evaluation of the course is carried forward. The evaluation of the students with respect to the NIHFW Exam Pattern is done in two parts.

➥ One part consists of the Formative or internal assessment and the other part consists of the terminal (final) Assessment. The information given here will help the students understand the evaluation process of the different distance learning courses available at NIHFW.

The Formative Evaluation consists of the Internal assessment of the students. This internal assessment carries a total of 150 marks. To score well in the internal assessment the students are required to give 100% attendance in the contact program/ session.

Furthermore, they are also required to submit their assignment and project within the assigned time. The assignment or project report will not be accepted after the stipulated time and the student will eventually lose the marks. The Terminal Exam of NIHFW Examination Pattern consists of Theory paper I  where the respective paper will carry 100 marks and Theory paper II where this paper will also carry 100 marks. The practical will carry 50 marks which will consist of Problem solving tests with respect to various issues in applied epidemiology.

The viva voce carries 50 marks and the total marks are constituted by the evaluation of project viva and the grand viva. Important points to keep in mind regarding NIHFW Exam 2024:

There are several obligations and guidelines that the students need to abide by with respect to the NIHFW Exam 2024.  The institute releases the notification for such guidelines and directions a few days before the commencement of the exam. The students who are aspiring for NIHFW Admission 2024 can consider the points given below in order to be eligible for the NIHFW final exam.

• The students need to submit the assignment on time and those students who are not able to do the submission in that time duration can submit the assignment within the extended time along with the late fine amount. Any assignment that is submitted after the stipulated time will not be accepted and the student would not qualify for the final examination and debar from the respective exam. 
• The project work that is assigned to the students needs to be submitted on time as well to be eligible for appearing in the final exam of the respective NIHFW Examination Pattern. 
• It is extremely mandatory for the students to give 100% attendance in the contact session conducted by the institute for the distance learning students. The contact session carries 20 marks for the students therefore, they should give substantial attendance as directed by the institution to qualify for appearing in the final exams. 

Key Points to Note for NIHFW Exam 2024:

• In any case, if the student is found using unfair means during the NIHFW Examination Pattern , he/ she will be debarred from appearing in the examination for a substantial period of 3 years. Hence, the students should be extremely careful regarding these aspects and avoid such activities for eliminating the chances of future respective inconveniences. 
• Any student will not be allowed to appear for the NIHFW final exam after the extended period of 4 years (including the year of admission) with the same course fees. 
• Those students who fail to complete their NIHFW course in the same year will have to deposit the continuation fee in the subsequent year of the course. 

Eligibility for the NIHFW Exam Pattern Courses:

• The candidate applying for  M.D. Community Health Administration and Diploma in Health administration course must have at least one year of internship along with passing the final examination of the MBBS course. It is also important for the candidate to be registered with the state medical council/ medical council of India. 
• The candidates who are intending to take admission in Postgraduate Diploma in public Health Management and are working in the state, central, or local government should have at least 2 to 3 years of experience of service in the health sector. The applicant is required to possess MBBS, BDS, or BSc. in nursing/ natural Sciences, etc., or B.A in social sciences or any other equivalent qualification. Moreover, it is essential to be involved in public health activities at a community hospital, or other health-related organization. 
• Those candidates who want to take admission for the distance learning courses are required to be registered with the concerned council or Indian Medical council. The doctor who has qualified the MBBs from abroad must have cleared the MCI. The candidate is also required to have a minimum of 2-3 years of working or field experience in the respective field (the course he/she is seeking admission in). 

Examination venue and Re-Evaluation of NIHFW Exam Pattern:

The final NIHFW examination will be held in the NIHFW, New Delhi campus itself. In case there are more than 20 state-sponsored candidates then there are chances that the exam will be held in the state institutes respectively. The Institute comprises no provision of re-evaluation.
