MAT Exam Syllabus 2025:

Before appearing for MAT Exam 2025, it is extremely important to know the MAT syllabus 2025. The syllabus of MAT includes questions from Language Comprehension, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills, and Indian and Global Environment. The AIMA does not release any official syllabus, but test-takers can prepare for the exam by going through past years’ MAT Question Papers.2

MAT 2025 February Paper-Based Test will be conducted on February 17, 2025, and, the MAT February Computer-Based Test will be conducted on February 23, 2025. Candidates needed to answer 200 questions in 150 minutes.

MAT Exam Syllabus 2025:

The MAT Exam Syllabus 2025 is divided into 5 sections which are:

Language Comprehension
Mathematical skills
Data Analysis and Sufficiency
Intelligence and Critical Reasoning
Indian and Global Environment

Each of these sections carries 40 marks and the question within these sections will have a difficulty level from easy to moderate. The syllabus is the same as last year’s MAT Exam Syllabus 2025. It is similar to every other MBA entrance exam syllabus. There have been no changes made to the MAT Exam Syllabus 2025. MAT 2025 Syllabus

Each section consists of an equal number of questions that will be in the format of the Objective Type Multiple Choice Question. The exam pattern and syllabus of MAT IBT, CBT, and PBT mode of examination will be the same. With the help of the syllabus, candidates can start preparing for the examination as the examination is easier and a little preparation can really pay off good. Candidates can also practice various mock tests available online or solve previous year's question papers or sample papers to get familiar with the exam pattern. Along with the syllabus, candidates can refer to the exam pattern section to get complete dynamics of the question paper.

The MAT Syllabus is not pre-defined by the AIMA but it covers all the important topics which are required for an MBA Entrance Examination. There are around 600 Business schools that provide admission to their MBA program through MAT score. Still while applying to a specific university the candidates are advised to check the recognition and approval status of the MBA program in it by concerning directly to the authorities as there are some institutes that do not accept MAT scores and provide admission on the basis of their entrance examination.

Language Comprehension:-

In Language Comprehension the applicants have to prepare for questions that are based on English grammar, English proficiency, fill-in-the-blanks, synonyms, antonyms, reading comprehension, and para jumble. For this, candidates need to start reading novels, and editor’s columns in newspapers, solve questions, and clear the basics of grammar with the help of grammar books.

Intelligence and Critical Reasoning Section:

In this section, your skills of reasoning and understanding the questions and situations will be tested. Here you will be asked questions based on fact inference judgment, analogy, statement argument, passage conclusion.
