Candidates willing to secure a seat in a top MBA college through MAT must understand the entire process. Candidates need to fill the application form, download the admit card, appear for the entrance test. Once the exam is conducted successfully, the result will be declared, and on the basis of the scores obtained in MAT, candidates can apply to different institutes. Candidates willing to appear for MAT 2019 need to first fill in the application form. Registration can be done by logging on to the official website of the MAT. Details filled in the application form are -name of the candidate, father’s name, date of birth, gender, name of the institution last attended, year of passing, percentage secured etc.
The first step of this procedure is to get registered by visiting the official website of AIMA. Enter the required credentials like Name, Phone Number, Email ID, Date of Birth and set a password. After verification, candidates need to log in again to complete the MAT registration.
The next step is to fill the application form. Fill up the required details mentioned in the application form, choose your test-taking option, select the test centre and provide personal details.
In this step, applicants are required to upload their scanned photograph and signature. The size of the photograph should not exceed 100 KB and should not be less than 40 KB and the size of the signature should not exceed 40 KB and should not be less than 10KB.
MAT application fees are Rs 1550. Candidates can submit the fees through any one of the three modes:

Candidates must make sure that they fill the application form without any mistakes. Application forms that will be incomplete or contain incorrect information will be rejected by the officials. Also, it must be noted that the application form is filled and submitted before the deadline to avoid rejection.
Next step is to download the admit card. It can be downloaded from the official website as per the prescribed schedule. Candidates can download their admit card by mentioning the following details:

Admit card will comprise of a registration number that will be unique for every applicant. The hard copies of the admit card will not be sent to the aspirants. Candidates must make sure that they print they admit cards on time and them to the exam centre.
MAT 2019 February Paper-based Test & Computer-based test will be conducted on two different dates. The sections in the MAT exam paper include - Indian & Global Environment Section, Language Comprehension, and Intelligence, Data Analysis and Sufficiency/ Mathematical Skills, and Critical Reasoning. Every section will comprise 40 questions. For every correct answer, one mark will be awarded, whereas, one/fourth mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
AIMA does not hold a centralised counselling process. The institutes that accept MAT scores prepare a merit list and inform the selected candidates through call letters or e-mail. It must be noted that the candidates need to register separately for every college.
There is no concession in MAT application fee for reserved categories. The fee for all candidates is same. MAT Application fee is as follows:
