The LNMU Exam Pattern has been revised in the latest years and constantly evolving so as to ensure that the examination conducted is up to date with the latest trends and is conclusive enough to check the aptitude and ability of the candidate in clear and concise terms. The exam usually starts at 10:30 am in the morning and goes till 2:00 pm. It is for two hours only as mentioned before, however, the extra time is for checking the candidate's admit cards, ensuring they have the proper documentation with them, checking for unwanted means (Murray or cheating material), etc.
The examination is usually conducted for 2 hours rather than 3 hours as it was conducted years ago. The question paper is usually conducted as objective questions and candidates are given OMR sheets to fill in their answers. The examination pattern will be changed for all the courses soon by the university. The LNMU Exam contains no negative marking for wrong answers.
For distance candidates, the university has given the choice of examination through the Open Book System, where candidates can appear for the exam without being physically present in the examination hall. However, the examination through online mode includes stiff regulations that candidates need to adhere to.
The Exam Pattern in a General Sense is Elaborated on Below:
The question papers consist of three parts where the first part is usually objective-based questions, which are around 10 questions of 1 mark each.
The second part, that is part B consists of 4 short answer-type questions of 6 marks each. The third part that is Part C consists of 3 long answer-type questions of 12 marks each. This mode is usually followed by language-based subjects, such as English, Hindi, etc. However, for better understanding, we have mentioned the LNMU Exam Pattern followed by the majority of the subjects below:
