The Eligibility for the Goa TET Exam:

The Goa TET is organized with a motive to select the candidates who fit the eligibility criteria as well as qualify for the ability test for teaching posts at Primary (class- I to V) and Upper Primary Level (Class- VI to VIII). The Goa TET Exam comprises two papers that are Paper 1 and Paper 2. Here are the eligibility criteria for both categories separately.

Minimum qualification required for Paper 1 (Teaching class I to V)

  • The candidates who want to appear for paper 1 of the Goa TET exam are required to have completed their class 12th exam (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and have passed or are appearing in the 2-year course in Diploma in Elementary education. 
  • The candidates are required to have completed their senior secondary education (class 12th) with a minimum mark of 50% and have passed or are appearing in the final year of the 4-year course in the Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EL.ED). Or, the candidates are required to have completed their senior secondary education (class 12th) with a minimum mark of 50% and have passed or are appearing in the final year of the 2-year course of Diploma in Education (Special Education). 
  • The candidates are required to have completed their BA/B.Sc. or graduation with at least 50% marks and have passed or are appearing in the 2-year course in Diploma in Elementary Education. 

Minimum Qualification required for paper 2 (Teaching class VI to VIII)

  • The candidates are required to have completed their BA/BSc or graduation with at least 50% marks and have passed or are appearing in the final year of their Bachelor in Education. Or, the candidates are required to have completed their BA/BSc or graduation with at least 50% marks and have passed or are appearing in the 2-year course in Diploma in Elementary Education. 
  • The candidates are required to have completed their Senior Secondary Education (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and have passed or are appearing in the 4-year course of Diploma in Elementary Education. Or, the candidates are required to have completed their senior secondary education (class 12th) with at least 50% marks and have passed or are appearing in the final year of the B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
  • The candidates are required to have completed their BA/BSc or graduation with at least 50% marks and have passed or are appearing in the final year of their Bachelor in Education (Special Education). 

Minimum Qualification required for Paper 1 and Paper 2 (Class- 1 to 8)

  • The candidates are required to have completed their senior secondary education (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and have completed or are appearing in the final year of their 4-year course in the Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EL.ED). 
  • The candidate is required to have completed their BA/ B.Sc or graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and have completed or are appearing in the 2-year course that is Diploma in Elementary Education.

The candidates can visit the official website at https://education.goa.gov.in/ in order to download the Goa TET Result 2024. Here are those steps are given below that will aid them in order to download the respective result:-

  • Go to the official website and locate the link or option available for the Goa TET Result.
  • Click on the link and log in to the respective portal by entering the credentials like login id/user id, password, etc. 
  • After this, a new page opens up where you can click on the result option and download the Goa TET Result 2024 on the operating system. 
  • Take a print of the downloaded result for later references.

Goa TET Result: Certificate and Validity:
