Details of DU SOL Exam Pattern 2025

For UG Courses:

Exam Date: The exam will be organized in the month of June.
Exam Mode: DU SOL Exam will be organized through the CBT mode.
Duration of Exam: The exam duration of DU SOL will be two hours for all the courses.
Type of Questions: The question paper of the DU SOL Exam will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
Number of Questions: In the DU SOL examination, a total of 100 questions will be asked.
Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, candidates will be awarded 4 marks.
Negative Marking: For any incorrect response, one mark will be deducted from the candidates.

Courses	DU SOL Exam Pattern
BA (Hons.) Business Economics/Bachelor in Management Studies (BMS)/ Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis) (BBA(FIA))	Sections: Quantitative Ability, Reasoning, and Analytical Ability, General English, Business, and General Awareness.
B.Tech (Information Technology and Mathematical Innovation)	Sections: Mathematics, Reasoning, and Analytical abilities at 10+2 levels.
B.A. (Hons) Humanities and Social Sciences	Sections: General Awareness, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Communication skills (English/Hindi), Logical Reasoning, and Analytical Ability at 10+2 levels. Language: The questions will be asked in English and Hindi language both.
Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)	Sections: English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, and Social science up to class 10th level. Language: The Entrance Test will be bilingual (English and Hindi) wherever applicable. Note: There will be no descriptive questions.
Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, Health Education and Sports (B.Sc. [P.E.H.E .& S.])	Language: The questions will be asked in English and Hindi language both. Note: There will be no descriptive questions
Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Multimedia and Mass Communication	Sections: General Awareness, Media Awareness, Current Affairs, English Comprehension, and Grammatical and Analytical Skills. Note: There will be no descriptive questions.

For PG Courses:

Exam Date: The examination is conducted in the month of June.
Exam Mode: The DU SOL Exam Pattern is conducted through online mode.
Exam Duration: The duration of the examination will be of two hours.
Type of Questions: The question paper encompasses MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions).
Marking Scheme: For every correct answer, 4 marks will be given to the candidate.
