The DCA Registration Form 2024 consists of the following stages. You need to complete every stage to proceed to the next.

Process 1: Create your Account

Candidate details verification

In this step, students need to verify the details like Course Name, Registration number, Candidate’s Name, Date of Birth, etc. This stage verifies your details which are available in the record. Mention all the correct details and click on the Next button.

Email ID and mobile number verification

The form will ask you to fill in your contact details. This stage confirms your mobile number and email ID. You will receive all the important information and notification regarding the exam on them. So, fill in the correct information.

User Creation

This step is for the security of your account. In this step, you will be asked to create a username and password. Select a security question and answer and click on the Next button. A link is sent to your email ID. This link helps you to the first login into your account.

Process 2: Update your Profile

Now you have successfully opened an account but for the DCA course registration, you need to update your profile. To complete your profile follow the steps below:

Upload Photograph, Signature & LTI

Your photograph, signature, and LTI (Left Thumb Impression) are very important details. The educational institute requires these details to complete your profile. You need to upload these details. The format and size should be according to the requirement.

Update your Mobile Number

The government institute will validate your mobile number. For this reason, it will ask you to update your mobile number. The institute will send an OTP to the number you mentioned. After you receive the OTP, fill it in the box and click on validate. In case you do not receive the OTP, you can click on the resend button.

Update your Correspondence Address

The institute has a record of your correspondence address. This address is displayed in your address details. If your correspondence address has changed, you can change it. Mention line 1, city, district, and state. After completing these details, click on the continue button and visit your dashboard.

Update your Details

Your details, like the father’s name, mother’s name, guardian’s name, and gender will be asked in this step. After finishing these details click on the submit button.

Lock your Profile

After updating all your details, the next step is to Lock your profile. This step ensures that all the details you mentioned are correct. You can not modify any details after you lock your profile. Also, you can not apply for the DCA exam unless you lock your profile. So, click on the ‘lock my profile’ button and the ‘confirm lock’ button.

Send your Updated Profile Sheet

After a successful lock-in of your profile, preserve it for future use. Take its printout.

Process 3: Fill the DCA Online Form:

The final stage is filling out the Application Form through the official website of the government institute. Here you apply for the DCA exam. You need to fill in the following important details.

Exam Details:

This column displays the basic details of the candidate and the exam. You can not change any of your details. Choose course details related to the DCA exam.

Exam Centre Details:

This option allows you to choose your exam center. The exam center choice is named primary and secondary. This is based on your priority. The exam center chosen by a candidate will be allocated to the student unless there is no seat remaining in the exam center. In such situations, the secondary exam center will be allocated.

Modules Appearing:

Here you will see the tentative date of each module. There are two modules ‘Theory and Practical’, and students have to select both modules. The number of elective subjects during the DCA online form will be limited. Also, before choosing a subject, you should check the eligibility criteria for that course.

Fee Details:

In this section, the fee details of the course you have chosen will be displayed. The system automatically calculates the fee for the course. Also, if you submit the fees after the due date, it will automatically add the amount of the fine to your fees.
