BITSAT Merit List 2025:

After the release of the BITS Answer Key 2025, the candidates will get an idea of the scores obtained by them and will understand whether they will get admission to the BITS Institutes.

The BITSAT authorities will release the merit list for the year 2025 after disclosing the BITSAT Answer Key. The merit list will denote the names of the candidates who have cleared the BITSAT Examinations in the first attempt and will get admission to the BITS Institutions.

Marking pattern for the BITS Examination

The marking pattern of the BITSAT Exam will help the candidates to make a rough estimate of their scores after the Answer Key is released. The marking pattern for the BITSAT Exams are as follows:

What happens to the BITSAT Result if two candidates get the same score?

There may be a tie-breaking scenario when two candidates get the same score in BITS Exams. In such cases the BITS Result will follow the tie-breaking rules formulated by the BITSAT authorities as given below:

• The candidate who gets the highest score in Maths or Biology is considered eligible for BITS Admission.
• If the tie is not broken, marks in  Physics will be considered.
• If the tie still remains, marks in Chemistry will be considered.
• If the tie continues to persist, total marks of the candidate in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology ( PCM ) in the Higher Secondary Examinations will be counted.

BITSAT Result Cut-off marks for admission:

The BITSAT Exam is held by BITS, Pilani and the candidates get admission to any of the three campuses in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad depending upon their score in the BITS Examination.

The Cut-off marks of the candidates for the year 2025 will be decided by the different BITS Institutes.The candidates will get admission to the various campuses if they meet or exceed the BITSAT 2025 Cut-Off marks.

The candidates can select the streams for the different Engineering courses based on the marks obtained by them when the BITSAT Result is declared.
