Allahabad University is a well-respected and fourth oldest public university in India, also known as the University of Allahabad. It offers many undergraduate and postgraduate courses in multiple disciplines. AU also offers admission into a PhD in Business Management in association with AMU. The aforementioned courses offer by 11 integrated colleges of the university. It was introduced on 23rd Sep 1887. Candidates get admission in the above courses through Allahabad University Entrance Test. There are separate admission tests for both UG and PG exams i.e. UGAT [Undergraduate Admission Test] and PGAT [Postgraduate Admission Test]. Candidates can get the registration form from the official website of AU’s University. The form will be filled only in online mode. The admit card will be available on the web portal in the month of May. The result of Allahabad University Entrance Test (for UGAT and PGAT) is announced in the month of June every year.

Those candidates who are appearing or passed HSC [10+2] examinations in Science discipline from a recognized educational board are eligible for applying to this course

Applied Science (Mathematics/ Biology)
Female candidates who have qualified the 10+2 exams with Science group or any other group with Home Science as one of the main subjects are eligible to apply.
Students should have passed Intermediate from a recognized board in the relevant discipline.
Aspirants should have cleared 10+2 examination in Commerce specialisation.
Candidates should have passed in 10+2 class in any field.
Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized educational board. Candidate’s age should be between 18 to 22 years as on July 01, 2019.
Students should have 10+2 with 45% marks (42% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST)
Candidates must secure at least 30% marks (27% for OBC) in the admission test managed by the university
Aspirants should have a graduate degree in any discipline with 45% marks (42% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST)
Aspirants should have secured minimum aggregate marks of 50% in LL.B Admission Test (LAT)
The candidate should have a graduate degree in any stream from a well-known university.
Your selection will be done based on the marks of PGAT followed by university-based counselling
Theatre & Films
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field are eligible to apply for the BA degree.
Applicants should have passed HSC and SSC from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% marks in total.
Candidates should be graduated with any one of the following programs BSW/B.Com/B.Sc Agriculture/BA in Economics/ Bachelor in Development Studies/BBA/B. Planning or Bachelor in Rural Development.
Candidates should have a BA degree in the relevant discipline with Mathematics/Statistics or Economics as one of the main subjects in graduation
B.Com or equivalent degree from a recognised university
Students should have a B.Sc/ BA degree in the relevant discipline from a known university
Admission will be granted based on marks of PGAT followed by university-based counselling
Earth System Science
Applicants should have M.Sc Mathematical Science/Physical Science/Chemical Science/Geo Science/Life Science or B.E/B. Tech degree with a minimum of 55% (50% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate. Candidates should have work exposure in research & development department in the field of Earth System/cognate discipline to apply (under sponsored category).
Candidates should have a BFA degree in the field of interest
Candidates should have a UG degree in the relevant field.
To get admission in MBA course, candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline
Admission will grant based on Written Test (600 marks) and Oral Test (100 marks)
For pursuing M. P.Ed, students should have a B.P.Ed from a recognized university
Admission will be granted based on the marks of PGAT and counselling
For opting admission in the M. Ed program, candidates should complete B.Ed from a recognized university
Admission will be granted based on the score of M.Ed Admission Test
Master’s degree in Management or Allied subjects like Commerce, Science, Humanities, Engineering, Law with 55% marks OR PGDM/ PGDITM with 55% marks or CA with 55% marks in aggregate with at least five years of work experience in the related discipline
Score in RMAT
Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with 55% marks in aggregate (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PH) from a recognized University.
