About GATE Entrance 2025: 

GATE is a (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is a national-level entrance examination conducted to offer admissions to prestigious M.Tech Colleges in India. It is administered jointly by IISc Bangalore and 7 IITs on behalf of the National Coordination Board-GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, and Government of India. GATE 2025 entrance exam is conducted in computer-test mode. After qualifying for the national entrance exam, candidates can get admission to various Post-graduate engineering programs (like- Master of Engineering, Master of Technology, and Doctor of Philosophy) offered by the finest engineering colleges in India. 

GATE is a national-level M.Tech entrance examination that is expected to be conducted in January 2025. There are more than 50 public institutes in India that require GATE 2025 scores for the recruitment of graduate engineers. GATE is conducted in more than 660 centers in India, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Nepal, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and the United Arab Emirates. It is held every year in the month of February. The process to request for the change in GATE 2025 Exam city is now available on the official website of GATE that is GOAPS-(GATE Online Application Processing System).

Eligibility Criteria for GATE Entrance Exam 2025:

To appear in GATE 2025 Entrance exam, it is mandatory for every candidate to meet the  GATE Eligibility Criteria. So, it is imperative to check the GATE 2025 eligibility criteria before filling up the application form. So here are the GATE 2025 eligibility criteria candidates need to fulfill :

• The candidate must have possession to at least a 4 year B.Tech/B.E/B.Arch degree. Candidates who are appearing in the last year of their B.Tech/B.E/B.Arch course. are also eligible to appear in GATE 2025 entrance exam.
• Candidates holding an MSc./MCA degree or equivalent can also appear in the M.Tech entrance examination. Candidates appearing in the last year of these courses are also eligible to apply.
• Candidates who are pursuing the 2nd/3rd/4th year of a 4 year integrated M.E/M.Tech degree programs after completing BSc are also eligible.
• Candidates who are pursuing a 4 or 5 years integrated Master's degree program or Dual Degree programs in Engineering or Technology are also eligible for GATE 2025 Entrance exam.
• Age Criteria for GATE 2025: There is no such age limit set by the authorities for the GATE 2025 entrance examination.

GATE Entrance Exam 2025 Important Dates:

 Candidates are eagerly waiting for the announcement and notices related to GATE 2025. GATE 2025 Notifications will be released by the conducting authorities probably in the month of July 2025. The notification of GATE 2025 will provide you with all the necessary information about the exam such as exam application dates, application procedure, exam pattern, exam dates, exam syllabus, eligibility criteria to apply for GATE entrance, etc. But till then, you can take reference from the table mentioned below. GATE 2025 Specializations & Paper Codes

GATE Entrance Examination is conducted across 29 specializations/streams. There are different sets of question papers for each specialization/stream. A candidate has to choose any one or two of these specializations in which he/she is interested to pursue his/her PG degree. However, the candidate is suggested to choose the specializations/subjects suitable to his or her qualifying engineering degree.

 Below we have specified the 29 subjects/specializations in which the GATE 2025 is going to conduct. These specializations are mentioned in their Paper Codes.

GATE Result: GATE 2025 Result is expected to be declared in the third week of March 2025. GATE 2025 scorecard will be released tentatively in the last week of March 2025. Candidates will be able to check their GATE 2025 Results on the official website of the GATE entrance exam.
