AU Entrance Exam Syllabus 2024: Allahabad University released the syllabus this year via online mode on its official portal. Candidates can check the AU Entrance Syllabus @ www.allduniv.ac.in. For the preparation of the AU Entrance Exam, candidates can check the complete syllabus through the online portal.

There are various courses provided by the University, and a candidate can appear in one or more courses. There are different courses for the different syllabus. So, candidates must select test books and other study materials for the best preparation.

AU Entrance Exam Syllabus (UG & PG)

Allahabad University (AU) is a premier Public Central University. Also, it offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as BA, B.Com, M.Com, MA, and many more. Candidates who pursuing any course from this University may get their Allahabad University Syllabus. The entrance exam will be organized in March/ April, so plan your studies by referring to the exam syllabus. The various subjects and their different syllabus of Allahabad University Syllabus are as follows:

Allahabad University Entrance Exam Syllabus 2024:

Syllabus for B.A. LLB (Hons.) A five-year Integrated Course Admission Test will be done through an Entrance Test by online mode. The Admission in AU of this course is to be held at All India Level and by offline mode only in the city of Allahabad at the center allotted by the University of Allahabad. Furthermore, the Admission test shall be of a duration of 2 hours and shall comprise 3 Parts each with a maximum of 100 marks as below :

1. Language Comprehension: Testing the knowledge in English and Hindi language particularly in English Grammar and Composition.
2. General Awareness and Current Affairs: Attesting the general knowledge and awareness about the current national and international affairs.
3. Reasoning, Mental Ability, and Legal Aptitude: Testing reasoning power, mental ability, and legal aptitude.

AU Entrance Syllabus For UGAT 2024

B.A. Admission Test (Intermediate Standard)

1. English or Hindi (Language and Literature) (Select any one) – 25 Questions
2. General Awareness – 25 Questions
3. General Mental Ability Test – 25 Questions
4. Subject Test (chose any 03) – 75 Questions

Out of these seven subjects, 25 questions of the intermediate level will be asked from Civic, Economics, Geography, History, Logic, Sanskrit, and Urdu subjects. The candidate will have to select three of these subjects and answer all the questions of the three subjects selected.

B.Sc. Admission Test- (Intermediate Standard)

3. Science Group (Intermediate level) – 120 Questions

There will be 40 questions in each of the following four subjects: 1. Physics, 2. Chemistry, 3. Mathematics and 4. Biology. Students of Maths discipline have to choose 120 questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, whereas students of Biology stream have to choose 120 questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

B. Sc. (Home Science) Admission Test (Intermediate Standards)

B.F.A. Admission Test (Intermediate Level)

Admission in the B.F.A. course will be granted based on merit in the entrance test. (Theory; conducted by the University of Allahabad and Practical; conducted by Department of Visual Arts). For securing admission in the aforementioned course, the applicant has to appear in both Practical, & Written Tests, Containing 600 marks.

AU Entrance Exam Admission Test 2024

Theory Test: (150 Multiple Choice Objective Questions on General Awareness) Time: 120 Minutes, Maximum Marks: 300

Practical Test: To be held in the Department

Bachelor of Performing Arts (B.P.A.) Admission Test (Intermediate Level)

B.P.A. Admission Test is a university-level exam. The paper is comprised of 150 MCQs [multiple choice questions]. Each question carries 2 marks. There is also a negative marking of 0.5 marks for each incorrect answer. All questions will be asked from Music (Vocal, Sitar & Tabla) at the Intermediate Level. The time duration of the Test will be 120 Minutes. Admission in the BPA course is done based on merit in the entrance exam. To pursue this course,  students have to appear in both theory and practical tests containing 500 marks.

Admission Test:

1. Theory Test – 150 multiple choice objective questions with maximum marks of 300.
2. Practical Test – To be held in the department of music marks 200.

B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Five Year Integrated Course Admission Test 2024

The admission test of B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) is a university-level exam with a duration of two hours. The question paper comprises three parts each with a maximum of 100 marks. The papers shall be:

Format of Admission Test

B.Ed. The admission test duration is 2 hours. This paper contains two sections. The first section has 20 items of Hindi Language Comprehension, 20 items of English Language Comprehension, 20 items on General Knowledge and Current Affairs, 20 Items on Mental Ability, and 20 Items on Teaching Aptitude. These 100 questions are compulsory. The 2nd section will have 50 Items on Subject content Knowledge.

Each candidate must give an answer to all the 50 items from any of the Arts, Science, or Commerce Streams. The question levels will be of a three-year degree course of B. A. / B. Sc. / B. Com. of the University of Allahabad. Items of the Arts stream will be from History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Hindi Literature, English Literature, and Sanskrit Literature subject.

AU Entrance Syllabus 2024: Items of Science stream will be from Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Zoology, and Botany subjects. Candidates shall have to answer 150 items in all and each item shall carry 02 marks. (0.5 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer) Items of General Knowledge shall be from Indian Social Life, History, Economic Development, Five Year Plans, Education Policy, Literature, Constitution, Sports, Environment, Health, Geography, etc. Items of Mental Ability will include Items from Logical Ability, Relational Thinking, Symbol Transformation, Abstract Thinking, and Classification Ability, inductive,-deductive thinking. Total Questions – 150 Total Marks – 300.

B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Five Year Integrated Course Admission Test 2024

(i) Language Comprehension: The questions in this part will be asked to check the knowledge of the students in English and Hindi language particularly in English Grammar and Composition.

(ii) General Awareness and Current Affairs: The questions in this part will be asked to check the general knowledge and awareness of the students about current national and international affairs.

(iii) Reasoning, Mental Ability, and Legal Aptitude: The questions will be asked to test reasoning power, mental ability, and the legal aptitude of the candidate.
