Engineering Entrance Examinations

1. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Patna -

2. National Institute of Technology (NIT), Patna -

In 2004 the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development founded NIT-Patna. This autonomous university offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programs in different engineering disciplines approved by UGC and AICTE. It is one of Bihar's best engineering colleges.

Entrance examination: NIT admits B.Tech students based on the marks earned in April by the candidates in JEE Mains. It considers NATA 's scores for admission to the course at B.Arch. For M.Tech, that accepts GATE's scores.

Courses: NIT provides full-time B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Information Technology for four years. It also implements the M.Tech program in different disciplines for two years.

3. Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology, Muzaffarpur -
