Apart from this, many colleges also offer B.Tech admissions based on the merit obtained by the candidates in 10+2 board examinations.
MBA Admission Criteria
To pursue an MBA degree, it is mandatory to complete a 3-year undergraduate/Bachelor's course in any discipline from a UGC-recognized university. The candidate must have scored atleast 50% or equivalent CGPA in the graduation examinations. The candidate who belongs to the reserved category needs to score atleast 45% marks in graduation. Reputed B-Schools like IIMS and IIT Kharagpur demand a minimum of 60% marks in graduation as an eligibility requirement. Also, some premier MBA colleges also ask for a 2-year work experience for the Executive MBA or Regular MBA Programs.
MBA Admissions to the top-notch B-Schools and premier colleges are based on national-level entrance examinations such as CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, ATMAA, or any other MBA entrance exam. The candidates need to obtain a valid score in any state or national level MBA entrance exam to get admission to a prestigious B-School.
Also, an individual can also pursue an MBA degree without appearing in any entrance exam as there are many universities and colleges that offer merit-based MBA admissions which are based on the candidate’s performance in the graduation examinations. After getting shortlisted on the basis of merit, the candidate may have to appear in a Group Discussion or Personal Interview round.
