UGC NET Admit Card 2026

UGC NET Admit Card 2026: All the applicants who have successfully submitted the UGC NET application form along with the application fee will be able to download their UGC NET Admit Card 2026 /UGC NET Hall Ticket 2026 from the official website. 

The NTA UGC NET Admit Card 2026 for the Phase II exam will be released on 16th September 2026. Candidates must know that the UGC NET Admit Card 2026 is a mandatory document that must be carried along in the examination hall. Without the NTA NET Admit card 2026, the candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. 

To download the admit card, the candidate has to visit the official website of UGC NET and enter their application no. and Date of Birth to view their admit card.  

The UGC NET 2026 Phase II exam is all set to commence from September 20th to September 30th. Candidates who have applied for the exam shall have to wait till 16 September to receive their respective admit cards. Please note that the UGC NET 2026 Phase I exam has already been held in July 2026.

As we have mentioned earlier, the NTA NET Admit Card 2026 will be made available on the exam's official website. The candidates will have to follow the below-mentioned steps to download UGC NET Admit Card 2026:

• Visit the official website of UGC NET i.e ugcnet.nta.nic.in
• On the home page, you will see a notification for " Download UGC NET Admit Card Phase II" 
• Click on the notification and you will be redirected to a new page. 
• Enter your application no., date of birth, and Security pin appearing on the screen. Your application no. was generated by the website during the registration process, you have to enter the same application no to open your admit card. 
• Click on Submit. 
• Your NTA NET Admit Card 2026 will appear on the screen. Check all the details mentioned on your admit card carefully and then download it.
• Take two or three printouts of your UGC NET Admit Card 2026 for further use. 

UGC NET Exam City Intimation List 2026:

University Grants Commission and NTA will also release a city intimation list which will consist of the names of cities allotted as exam centers to the candidates, The UGC NET City intimation is a process in which all the applicants will be able to get their exam city names before the exam center is allotted. This will give the candidates time in case they have to travel from other cities or states to their exam city. The address of the exam center will be mentioned in the UGC NET Admit Card 2026 which will be released on 16th September 2026.

• Visit the official portal ugcnet.nta.nic.in
• Find the " Advance City Intimation for UGC-NET December 2026 & June 2026 (Phase II)" link on the home page.
• Click on it. 
• Enter your application no. , DOB, and security pin visible on the screen. Click on submit 
• Your City Information will appear on the screen
• Download and take a printout.

Why error in UGC NET Admit Card 2026?

• Incomplete form filling UGC NET Application form

• One Passport Size Photograph

• Candidates have to appear for UGC NET Exam at the exam center specified on the UGC NET Admit Card 2026. 
• Candidates must reach the exam center as per the date, shift, and time mentioned on the UGC NET Admit Card 2026.
• Candidates are not allowed to carry a mobile phone, calculator, or any other gadget inside the UGC NET Examination hall.
