TN Teacher Exam Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates applying for the post must have:

B.A. + Two-year Diploma in Elementary Education
Aspirants who have passed with 45% marks in graduation and hold a BEd degree can also apply.
Candidates who have secured 50% marks in Class 12 and hold a four-year B. A in Elementary Education (BElEd) or four-year BA/BScEd or BAEd/BScEd can apply for the recruitment process. Candidates holding BEd (Special Education) degree and B. A with 50% marks can also apply.

Government Arts and Science Colleges Assistant Professor	Post-graduate degree with at least a 55% aggregate score. NET/SLET/SLST/CSIR passing certificates in relevant subjects.
Block Educational Officer in the Elementary Education Department	B.A/B.Sc degree
Post Graduate Assistant	Post-graduate degree and B.Ed
Computer Instructor	Post-graduate degree and B.E
