The RRB JE 2026 exam will be held in 3 rounds and be an Online Computer-based Test (CBT I and CBT II). Candidates who qualify in the 1st round of the exams (CBT I) will move on to the next round (CBT II). The third and final stage of the exam is the Document verification and Medical Examination of the candidates. There is negative marking in both CBT I and CBT II exams and for every incorrect attempt, one-third of marks will be deducted from the overall score of the candidate.

RRB JE 2026 Exam Language
The default language of the RRB JE Exam is English. However, candidates have the option to select any other language as the mode of exam other than English. These languages are- Hindi, Bengali, Assamese, Gujarati, Konkani, Kannada, Punjabi, Telugu, Odia, Tamil, Urdu, Manipuri, Malayalam, and Marathi.
Preparation tips to crack the RRB JE exam 2026
- Understand the syllabus and the exam pattern properly before starting your preparation.
- Prepare a timetable and allot time for all the subjects on the basis of their weight.
- Complete studying the entire syllabus properly from textbooks and reference books.
- After completing each section, solve all the questions related to it.
