RRB JE 2025 Exam pattern and syllabus

The RRB JE 2025 exam will be held in 3 rounds and be an Online Computer-based Test (CBT I and CBT II). Candidates who qualify in the 1st round of the exams (CBT I) will move on to the next round (CBT II). The third and final stage of the exam is the Document verification and Medical Examination of the candidates. There is negative marking in both CBT I and CBT II exams and for every incorrect attempt, one-third of marks will be deducted from the overall score of the candidate.

Candidates who qualify for both CBT I and CBT II will be called for the Document verification process. Final candidates for RRB JE 2025 must appear for the Medical Fitness test.

RRB JE 2025 Exam Language

The default language of the RRB JE Exam is English. However, candidates have the option to select any other language as the mode of exam other than English. These languages are- Hindi, Bengali, Assamese, Gujarati, Konkani, Kannada, Punjabi, Telugu, Odia, Tamil, Urdu, Manipuri, Malayalam, and Marathi.

Preparation tips to crack the RRB JE exam 2025

  • Understand the syllabus and the exam pattern properly before starting your preparation.
  • Prepare a timetable and allot time for all the subjects on the basis of their weight.
  • Complete studying the entire syllabus properly from textbooks and reference books.
  • After completing each section, solve all the questions related to it.
  • Pay extra attention to the topics that you find difficult.
  • The Mathematics and the General Science sections have the maximum weightage, so prepare them thoroughly and solve all the related questions.
  • After completing the entire syllabus, attempt mock tests and solve sample papers.
  • Time management is of utmost importance during the exams so try to solve the question papers before time leaving room for revision and corrections if any.
