RPF SI Exam Pattern 2025:

All the candidates who are setting their eyes on the RPF SI post this year must understand that the RPF SI Recruitment 2025 will be done on a 3-step selection procedure which is:

• Computer Based Test (CBT)
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

Final selection the candidate will have to go through document verification.

1. RPF SI Computer Based Test 2025

In the RPF SI Recruitment 2025, the candidate has to first appear in a Computer-based test. In this CBT test, the candidate's knowledge and aptitude are assessed. A total of 120 questions are asked in the test and each question carries one mark. This test carries a weightage of 120 marks.

This CBT test is held in the medium of 14 languages which are English, Hindi, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Konkani. Malayalam, Punjabi, Manipuri, Assamese, Marathi, Odia, Gujarati, Bengali. All the candidates should understand that the negative marking scheme will be followed during the evaluation.

So for each right answer, you will get 1 mark and for each wrong answer, half marks will be deducted from the total score. If the question is left unattended, no marks will be carried or deducted for the same.

In the RPF SI Exam 2025, the question paper will consist of three sections which are as follows:

2. Arithmetic
3. General Intelligence and Reasoning

The General Awareness section will carry a weight of 50 questions, the Arithmetic section will consist of 35 questions and General Intelligence & Reasoning section will also have 35 questions. Each question asked in the test will carry a weightage of 1 mark. This test will be 120 marks. 2. PET (Physical Eligibility Test)

In the Physical Eligibility Test, the candidates will have to participate in three activities:

A run long jump and a high jump activity. The Male candidates will have to run in 1600 meters track whereas the female candidates will have to run for 800 meters. The timing of the run is also fixed. The duration of the male candidate’s run is 6 minutes 30 seconds whereas for female candidates it is just 4 minutes.

Another activity will be the Long jump The details about the Physical Eligibility Test (PET) comprising long jump and running for both male and female candidates are given below.

3. PMT (Physical Measurement Test)

The PMT test will be done after the Physical Eligibility Test. PMT test will be done to measure your physical features like your height and chest size. Candidates will have to meet some pre-determined standards of Physical measurements.

Candidates who will clear all the above-mentioned 3 rounds of RPF SI selection process 2025 will be are called document verification. The document verification will be followed by a Medical Fitness Test which is mandatory for the final appointment of all the candidates in Railway Protection.
