ML TET Exam: Meghalaya TET stands for Teacher Eligibility Test and is conducted by the DERT Directorate of Educational Research & Training for determining the eligibility of the candidate for the post of teacher in the government school of the state.
The full form of TET is the Teacher Eligibility Test, this is the qualification for the candidate to become eligible to be a teacher for classes 1 to 8th. Teacher Eligibility Test is compulsory for the candidates for a teaching job in government schools. The teacher eligibility test consists of two papers:
Paper 1- this is for the classes from 1 to 5th, those candidates who want to get a teaching job for the classes of 1 to 5th then can give the teacher eligibility test paper 1.
Paper 2 - this is for the classes from 6 to 8th, those candidates who want to get a teaching job for the classes of 6th to 8th then can give the teacher eligibility test paper 2.
The central government and state government both conduct teacher eligibility tests in India and most of the states conduct their test for the eligibility of teaching. The main purpose of the teacher eligibility test is to accommodate the objectives of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009.

Meghalaya TET is conducted by the Meghalaya Board of Education to identify the candidate's eligibility for the appointment as a teacher for classes 1 to 8. A candidate gets a chance of being recruited in the government schools through the Meghalaya teacher eligibility test 2025 Score. Meghalaya teacher eligibility test (MLTET) is conducted once a year of June and July at the state level and organized by the Directorate of Educational Research & Training (DERT).
Those candidates who are willing to appear in the Meghalaya Teacher Eligibility Test can fill the Meghalaya teacher eligibility test application form before the last date otherwise they will miss the chance to become a teacher in the government and then they have to wait for the next year MLTET Examination.
