LIC AAO Exam Pattern 2024

LIC AAO Exam Pattern 2024: Every year LIC recruits candidates to fill the vacancies of Assistant Administrative Officers in various departments such as C.A, Actuarial, Rajbhasha, Legal, IT, etc. Last year the exam got postponed in the effect of the rise of covid-19. This year the exam is expected to be held on time however there is no certain announcement or notification released by the authorities. The LIC AAO recruitment will be based on the exams and interview round. The LIC AAO recruitment process will be held in three phases:

  1. LIC AAO Preliminary Exam 2024
  2. LIC AAO Mains Exam 2024
  3. LIC AAO Interview 2024

Each phase will carry a different weightage in the LIC AAO recruitment 2024. Candidates first have to appear in the preliminary examination. Candidates who will qualify for the prelims will be able to proceed to the next phase which is the Mains Exam. The marks obtained in the LIC AAO Mains 2024 exam will determine whether the candidate will proceed to the next phase of the selection process i.e an Interview. round. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear in the interview at the allotted interview center on the given date and time. This interview round will decide their recruitment status. The candidates who will pass the interview will be called for the medical examination. The organization (LIC) consider health and medical fitness as one the prime factor for selection, therefore they ask all the selected candidates to get their medical examination done. The candidates who will get declared "medically fit" will be recruited as LIC Assistant Administrative Officer.

LIC AAO Preliminary Exam Pattern 2024

The LIC AAO Preliminary Exam 2024 is an objective-type examination conducted in a computer-based mode in the exam centers, This question paper will consist of 100 MCQ-type questions from three sections which are: English Section, Reasoning Ability Section, and Quantitative Aptitude. All the candidates will get a total of 60 minutes to solve the question paper. Other information about the LIC AAO Preliminary Exam Pattern 2024 is given in the table below:

LIC AAO Mains Exam Pattern 2024

The LIC AAO Mains 2024 will carry a weightage of a total of 300 marks. A total of 120 questions will be asked in the LIC AAO Mains exam 2024. All the candidates must be informed that there will be a descriptive test held by the authorities right after the Mains objective exam. Separate tome duration will be given to the candidates to complete each section of the LIC AAO Mains Objective exam. The mains exam will consist of a total of 5 sections which are - (i) Reasoning Ability (ii) General Knowledge & Current Affairs (iii) Professional Knowledge (iv) Insurance & Financial Market Awareness and (v) English Descriptive section (Letter & Essay Writing). A duration of 2 hours will be given to the candidate for completing the test whereas only 30 minutes will be given to write the descriptive exam. The descriptive exam will carry a weight of 25 marks.

Important Instructions For LIC AAO 2024:

  • The Descriptive Test of English Language is qualifying in nature and will not be considered for the ranking purpose.
  • To get qualified for the LIC AAO Posts 2024, the candidate must have to obtain minimum qualified marks in each section of the exam separately. Candidates also need to obtain minimum aggregate marks in both the Preliminary exam and the Mains exam. The minimum aggregate marks will be decided by the exam conducting authority only.
