The LIC AAO Prelims exam was supposed to be held on April 4, 2025. The result of the prelim exam was declared on the official website of LIC on 28 August 2025. Speaking of the next stage of LIC Recruitment 2025 the LIC AAO Mains 2025 was held on 31st October 2025. The LIC AAO Mains Result 2025 was declared on January 17th, 2025 and now only 19 candidates are shortlisted for the interview phase.

  • A freshly recruited Assistant Administrative Officer will have to serve a probation period of 1 year. The probation period will start immediately from the day the employee joins the organization.
  • The LIC AAO can be posted anywhere across any state and city of India.
  • According to the LIC employment policies, the candidate will have to serve atleast 4 years in the organization which also includes the probation period. 
  • If a candidate resigns from his/her post before the 4 years of service, then he/she will be liable to pay a fine of Rs 5,00,000 (Rs 5 Lacs) or the sum of an amount prescribed by the LIC's Executive Director.
  • Candidates should keep this fact in mind that most of the branches of LIC are located in the provincial/rural districts of India. Once the candidates get hired and trained for the job of Assistant Administrative Officers, the candidates will be posted outside their home cities for atleast 3 years of the time period.

Educational Qualification: The candidates who are applying for LIC AAO Exam 2025 need to possess some qualification depending upon the post he/she is applying for. Below we have mentioned the qualification required to apply for each post that comes under LIC AAO.

(i) Education Qualification required for the post of LIC AAO Legal

The candidate applying for the post of LIC AAO (Legal) must be graduated in the Law discipline. In other words, the candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree in Law or LLM from a recognized Indian university/institution. Moreover, the candidate also must have at least three years of working experience in a Bar. Without the Bar experience of 3 years, the candidate will be considered ineligible to apply for this post.

(ii) Education Qualification Required for the post of LIC AAO IT

The candidate looking to apply for the post of LIC AAO (IT) must possess a 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering/IT/Electronics or a Masters degree in Computer Science obtained from a recognized university.

(iii) Education Qualification required for the post of LIC AAO CA 

Candidate looking forward to applying for the LIC AAO CA post must have to possess the given qualification:

  • A bachelor's degree from any recognized Indian institution/university.
  • The candidate must have qualified for the final examination of ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) and also be required to complete all the articles as presented by the ICAI.
  • The applicant must be an Associate Member of ICAI and they must have to provide the membership no. during the application as it will be verified with ICAI.

(iv) Education Qualification required for the post of LIC AAO Actuarial

Candidates who wish to apply for LIC AAO (Actuarial) post must have possession of the given qualification achievements:

  • The candidates must be graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Indian institution/university.
  • It is mandatory for all the candidates to pass the CT1 and CT5 plus 4 or more papers of the exams conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India or Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK (6 or more papers) as of 1st March 2025.
  • Please note that the candidates will also have to provide the membership no. during the application as it will be verified by the official from the  Institute of Actuaries of India/ Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK.

(v) Education Qualification required for the post of LIC AAO 

The candidate who wants to apply for the post of LIC AAO (Rajbhasha)

  • The candidate must hold a postgraduate degree in Hindi or Hindi Translation and also must have studied English in bachelor degree-level education.
  • A candidate who possesses a Master's degree in English with Hindi as one of the subjects during graduation (in bachelor's degree) is also eligible to apply for LIC AAO Rajbhasha.
  • If a candidate has a master's degree in the Sanskrit language with English and Hindi as subjects in graduation, then also he/she is eligible to apply for this post.
  • Please note that the requirement for the PG (Master’s) degree is not mandatory for any of the AAO posts except the post of LIC AAO Rajbhasha. It is mandatory for all the candidates to meet all the eligibility requirements in order to receive the LIC AAO Admit card 2025 after the application. The application of ineligible candidates will be rejected by the authorities and those candidates will not receive any LIC AAO Admit Card 2025 even after paying the application fee and completing all the registration and application formalities.
