The Jammu and Kashmir Civil Service Examination 2026 will include both objective type and descriptive questions. A total of 150 marks in paper 1 and 300 marks in paper 2 will be demanded in the preliminary examination and the time duration for each paper will be 2 hours. A total of 300 marks for paper 1, 150 marks for paper 2, and 300 each for papers 3 and 4 will be asked in the main examination.
